Realist weight compared to 45 colt clone with empty magazine. Slide action good simulation. Grip safety for looks only. Hammer cycles but does not remain in ready. Good for transition to 22 clone to 45 for new shooters. Smoth bore barrel hits target, bad groups probability more from just having fun and rapid-fire.  CO2  cartridge good for 3-4 20 round mags then some change in performance. The co2 cartrige will continue to cycle 6-7 mags. Has last shot hold open feature. Exhaust note similar to .22 short round.

My husband wanted a "cool looking" pellet or bb gun to target shoot and scare off vermin. I wanted something reasonably priced in case he got bored with his new toy. We're both happy. I believe it's the highest feet-per-second/fps pistol available at Walmart, which was important to him. He also likes that it comes with a laser. One thing the description doesn't tell you is that the part that looks like a "silencer" screws off, but then you have part of the barrel extending beyond the "gun" proper.

Husband loves it.

I've started helping people become familiar with firearms and to start them out I've been using CO2 BB guns.  Some work better than others, and this one is great!

I purchased both the Crossman 1911 BB Gun and a 40-ct box of Crossman 12-Gram CO2 Powerlets.  I looked at it as getting the gun for next to free, so wasn't expecting all that much, but boy was I pleasantly surprised!  It's pretty basic, like you would expect, but has worked quite well for me.  It's accurate, has decent sights, and doesn't waste air.  If you see a good price on the Gun, buy it.  If you can get the same deal I did with both for around $40, definitely buy it.  I'm very happy with this purchase so far.

Combo Purchase

Many times the gun won't fire a bb. The CO2 is working but won't shoot a bb out of the barrel. When pulling the clip out to see if there is ammo left many of the bb's just fall out of the gun cavity.
