I started The Firm 3 weeks ago. I was nervous to start. I am 230 lbs and a size 20. I did not think that I would be able to keep up w/ the itty bitty instructors. Not so. They break it down in a way where you can!

I weighed and measured myself before I started. Then after the 10 work outs, I measured again. I lost 14 3/4 inches already! 5 inches in my waist alone. I also went down a full dress size. Now, the scale only moved 5 lbs, but muscle weighs more than fat so I am not concerned about that. THESE DVD'S WORK. I will measure and weigh myself again in two weeks. They say to do it every month, but, it is inspiring to see the results. GREAT PROGRAM!!!

I not only look better doing this but feel better. Would 150% recommend this product.

This is something that you can stick to and see results quickly. I saw them even faster than 10 workouts!

I am presently using The Firm Transfimation System. I started Jan. 2008 and have lost 59lbs. I will be a firmee for life & recommend this product to any one. For more helpful hints use chicken, fish, and turkey product; eat six meals aday ( 2-3 two hundred cal. snacks and 3 meals at about four hundred cal. each). The weights can be used as shown in videos of High Def Sculpt starting out lite and advance when you feel no longer challenged; or perhaps buy Total Body Toner when you advance past the level of High Def Sculpt.

The Firm Transfirmaton system Review

IF you've tried any of The FIRM workout with weights, and toughed it out the 10 days, you know you will see results! This starter weight set is perfect for someone beginning who does not have any weights at home.

Great starter weight set

I am eighteen years old, I weigh 120 lbs and a size 7 jeans.
I've only owned this product for about two weeks now and I love it!
Its a workout for five days and one of those scheduled days are the express workouts.
I have never done an unscheduled express workout yet, but I do take the occasional extra day off.
I love these dvds because its a unique creation of dancing, lifting weights and easy movements.
At first I had a hard time keeping up, but once you get the moves, it goes by incredibly fast.
I've worked out with these dvds maybe, 6 times and i'm already seeing tighter thighs.
I still eat whatever I want. Givin I hate fast food.
But I still eat the occasional chocolate and cake.
And still getting results.
Try this system.
Only downfall is the dvds are fast pace and I do have to pause for just a second multiple times to get some water.
I suggest for you to buy your own five lb weights.
I personally think the three lbs wieghts arent very affective.

Amazing results!

This workout didnt come with all the weights that the regular system comes with but I used my own weights which worked just as well. I have been using this system for over 2 weeks and I still feel every muscle in my body working. Especially my arms, shoulders and thighs. The workouts are pretty tough and fun. I would recommend this product to my friends and family. Great so far.

Great Workouts!

I heard some mixed reviews about "THE FIRM" but they {customers} didnt realize what they were actually buying. This is cardio with weights not just some low impact workout routine. I recommend buying 2 five pound weights when you build yourself up. I actually look forward to my morning workout!

GREAT PRODUCT

The workouts are good, but this set doesn't even give you enough weights to make the sets the instructors are using. Wait for the workouts to come out without the weights and purchase a set of weights separately.

Workouts

I bought this product in-store while looking for sets of free weights to fill out the program recommended 3 lb, 5 lb and 8 lb sets. At first, I thought this would have them all plus 4 workouts, but did not really want to commit to spending money unneccesarily if need be, so I did some comparison shopping. I ended up buying this product anyway, but not for the weights themselves. Please note, this set DOES NOT include all the weights you will need. It doesn't weigh 16 lbs to start with, so it isn't going to have 16 lbs of weight (two 8 lb dumbells) one way or another. What it does have is 4 videos for around $40.00 and tax (and shipping if you order online). That and two sets of 1 lb, 3 lb and 5 lb adjustable weights that come in a convenient case (good for travel and storage!) is not a bad deal. The videos themselves run around $10-$15 each depending on where you get them from, so if you like this system and are already ready for some video diversity to keep your routine from getting...routine, get the set if only for that reason and go hunt down the 8 lb set separately. If you are extremely new to the system and either don't like it or haven't committed to doing it regularly, buy the weights separately. The weights will always be useful, Firm or no.

Good Value for Videos...

This product does not come as discribed. Their is no on-the-go guide. And you do not get enough weights to equal up to 16 pounds. After I made the purchase through Wal-mart.com, I quickly found that their description online is WRONG. As mentioned earlier there was NO On-the-go Guide, and NOT enough weights to equal 16 lbs.

This product is not at all what I expected. When the description said the weights were adjustable from 1-8 pounds I didn't realize that you would have to hold all four weights in one hand to use the most weight, which is just silly and not possible. I thought I was getting the set that is on the manufacturer's website that has enough weights to make two sets of three pound weights and two sets of five pound weights, which, held together, equal eight pounds per hand. This set only includes enough weight to make one set of three pound weights and an extra set of handles, which seem pretty useless to me. I haven't tried the workouts because they are shrinkwrapped and I am returning this set to purchase the one with more weights from the manufacturer. I guess I should have realized this set was cheaper for a reason, but I just thought that I was getting a good deal because it was from Walmart. I also had to wait about 2 weeks for it to get shipped site to store just to that I could pick it up and find out it wasn't what I wanted.
