Rated 1 out of 5 by from CHANGE IT BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not like this new product. The other Surfer Hair actually made my hair look great. This one is like putting conditioner in my hair dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the original! DO NOT like this product compared to the old surf hair at all. The smell is overpowering and bothers my allergies and smells very masculine - this was a scent before that worked for both myself and my fiance but now it's just too overwhelming for me to use. It doesn't give me the same waves without frizz that the original putty did. We will be switching to a different company sadly to search for a product that does exactly what the original surf hair used to do! Also the new packaging seems to be a waste of plastic - it's bulky and not as easy to travel with and includes less paste inside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't be cheap First of all i don't like the fact that price has gone up while the amount has gone down. It's about a dollar more and now 3 oz. instead of 5 oz., the packaging tries to hide this. And quality of the product feels cheaper, from the scent, texture, and not as long lasting. Do yourself a favor and bring back the original amount and formula. I wouldn't mind the pirce increase if those 2 things had not changed. Until then I'm shopping around for a new hair putty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back Surf Hair I had my wife pick up some more Surf Hair for me last week and she returned with Surfer Hair. I asked why she bought this and she said she was told this is the replacement for Surf Hair. As I was out of my older product, I used the new one. Not only is the packaging different, but it holds 40% less product. It is also more expensive. It is still very reasonable in my opinion; however, the product is inferior and very different from the original product. It has a very fragrant smell and does not hold as well as the original. I end up using more of it to try and accomplish the same styling as before. I am not pleased with this new product and will look for other solutions similar to the original Surf Hair. If Garnier is interested in raising the price, then raise the price. Don't change the product and raise the price. That is bad business.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New forumulation is a horrible goo. I really don't care about the change in volume. What I do care a great deal about is that this formulation is absolute garbage, and is not similar in any way to the old formula. It is greasy and oily, and not a paste like the old formula. Hope you guys saved a fortune on converting to the new formula, because you are about to lose a TON of purchases from all the people who are going to stop buying your product. I had been buying surf hair for years, looks like I have to start shopping again, and I am very disappointed about that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the old formula The original Surf Hair was the only product that worked for me. It had a great hold, great smell, and it was very affordable. This new formula is a step back in every direction. First off, Garnier increased the size of the tub while reducing the amount of product that you actually get, and kept costs the same. I would have been fine with this if they had stuck with the original formula. Second, the new formula has a different texture and smell. The smell of the original was neutral if not slightly fruity, and it was not overpowering. The smell of this new formula gave me a headache after a few hours. The overwhelming consensus is that this new product is completely inferior to the original. Nobody who has used the original likes this at all. I understand if Garnier is trying to keep costs down but this is not the way to do it. I would happily spend a couple extra bucks to keep the original. Please bring it back. One last thing, I really liked the shape and size of the old tub because it was easy to travel with. This new tub is huge and takes up a lot of unnecessary space.
