I got this because my husband's face gets red every time he shaves, so I thought he could try this and after using it his face did not look all red and spotty.

Its great on the skin and does not have a strong scent. great value for money. have been using it for a while now.

the product itself is fine,it's the button on top to release the he cream. I have had two separate cans that the button can off the can while trying to get the shave cream out

I too was shocked at the stench when I used a new can of the shave cream. The smells so bad that even after washing my face 3 times with fragrant soaps I still  stunk. When I joined my wife on the sofa she moved away from me after making a weird face. My pillow stunk the next morning and even after washing my shirt the collar still smelled from rubbing against my face. Gillette really screwed this up and their fake apologies doesn't help. I bought a can of Barbital and at least I'm able to shave again without stinking up anything I come into contact with. SWITCH BRANDS.

SWITCH BRANDS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A STINKYFACE

I have used this product for 25 years or more.  I just used the most recent product that I purchased and the strong fragrance just makes me nauseous.  The smell is strong and just stinks.  I used this product in the past because it was odor free.  Now it is completely ruined.  I see the company response for these remarks and they cite their research BS but there are customers who prefer and need non-fragrance products.  If that was your research then it failed miserably.

Ruined Perfectly Good Product With Menthol Smell

What in the world were they thinking when they changed the scent?  I had used this for 25 years because it was a mild smell.  Now, it burns my eyes and it doesn't wash off easy either.  Terrible.  I'm looking at the back of grocery store shelves for the vertical name instead of the horizontal.  I've found one bottle so far.
