The price, quality and performance of this product is great. I suggest to be careful when removing weights from the stand. If you jerk them out of the stand the weights that aren't attached will shift out of place and you will have to place them back in there spot before you can re rack the wieghts. As long as you are slightly gentle and mindful when you remove yhe weights this set will perform very well.

Also, I have read reviews that say the weights fall off of the bar when people were using them. I have not had this problem. If this happens to you, I would recommend returning and getting a new set, as it was probably just faulty.

I didn't have the room for a whole weight set so this adjustable dumbbell was perfect. It is very easy to adjust the settings and I am pleased with the quality.

Excellent set; space saver & adjusts easily.

Bought two for my home gym and pretty happy with it a week later. They're quick and easy to use. If you're on the fence about it, I say just buy one. You won't be disappointed.

Well worth the money

Granted that i have not had these weights for very long, but they seem to stay on well while being used. There is some play in them, so that will take getting used to.

Sometimes there are days that you just cannot make it to the gym and a pair of Gold's Gym SpaceSaver 25 lb. Dumbbells are an excellent alternative to get a quick pump in for the day. It is heavy enough for the average person to get a decent workout but also light enough to not be a burden if you have to move them into another room. Do not expect these weights to replace a well stocked gym, however, if you missed going to the gym, you can at least do a few sets to lessen your guilt. I recommend these for those who are frequent gym goers who happen to miss a day or two throughout the week (like myself). Enjoy!

Great value at a reasonable price.

This is a great speed weight set, comparable to others in quality and features, but beats them out when it comes to price!

Excellent cost-friendly product

i use these to warm my shoulders up before going to the gym (saves about 10 mins, and i don't have to work around people just to warm up). the construction is solid, the plates do wiggle around a little but not so much as to be a problem or throw off your balance. the pins work great, sometimes they're a little stiff but generally work as expected and it's easy to change the poundage. i actually weighed these out and they are just slightly heavier than 25 lbs (just by a few oz's) but reviews i have seen with many standard dumbbells had the poundage off by as much as 5 lbs!! now, quality aside, these are not weights that you can drop or throw or roll i would think like you can with standard dumbbells. it may mess up the pin mechanism. also, when you are removing the handles from the cradles with less than the full 25 lbs engaged you should remove them slowly or the unengaged plates have a tendency to lift out and fall over. the only real problem i forsee with this weight set though is that the cradle is made of some form of hard plastic and i can see this cracking eventually unless perhaps you are very careful loading and unloading the dumbbells. otherwise, for $51.99 this is an excellent price for what i consider to be a quality set of adjustable dumbbells. in fact, the price has dropped about 10 bucks. when i first priced them i believe they were $61.99!! i think too that most people would be able to do most upper body exercises with these dumbbells that you would be able to do with a standard set. i would purchase these again, and i do recommend them.

good for saving space and compared to buying singles in different weights is comparably priced wish it was a set and you didn't have to buy another one separately if you wanted, a deal for two would be nice. as far as functional is easy to adjust but the shape of the weights does make them a little clumsy falling over in the tray and whatnot and you need to have them lined up. overall it is what i expected it to be hope it holds up.

Works as expected. Durable, easy, could be a little cheaper.

No complaints

I just used mine for the first time and they work great but thought I was getting what the description said "eight 2.5lb weights." That is not what you get. It is actually four 5lb weights. I wanted the eight 2.5lb weights to give me more range. But for the price I can make due. Just be sure that you know what you are getting. It looks just like the picture but not the description.

Great product but doesn't match description.

You would think it would be easy: pull up the pin and shift it up or down as needed. I spent more time fighting with the shifting mechanism than I did lifting the dumbbells. I will be returning them this weekend.
