Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made for giants I checked reviews just to make sure this tower would clear my bedroom ceiling. It does, however I wasn't expecting to have to use a step stool just to reach the pull up bar or get on the arm pads for knee pull ups. I'm 5'7" and I feel like a toddler next to this thing. I'm not complaining really, it has to accommodate taller people but I thought it would be easier for someone my height. I started doing ten knee pull ups several times throughout the day and my abs and lower back feel sore but a really satisfying sore. I'm staring 50 in the face, am otherwise healthy and like many guys I've kept active but I've let the stomach muscles go their own way which is usually downward. There is nothing attractive about a short guy who looks 8 months pregnant. I'm tired of the lower back pain because my abs and lower back muscles are weak and taking OTC meds is not going to make it better. Only exercise will. You really have to want to make a difference in your life for any piece of exercise equipment to work and eating healthier is also important. I NEVER thought knee pull ups would get easier until I just relaxed and started slowly. Your body will adjust and get stronger, you'll feel better and more confident about your appearance. Imagine wearing a shirt that doesn't balloon at the bottom. Give yourself some credit, buy this and go at your own pace. I used to feel like I was up against some sort of schedule. Thinking like this is just silly. Take it slowly, make the time for using this dip station and your stomach and lower back (core) will get stronger. As a reward the knee pull ups become easier and you become motivated to increase your reps. Don't go overboard, don't hurt yourself, start slowly and feel the difference within a day or two. That soreness is your body telling you you're targeting the right areas. Assembly is straightforward and instructions are pretty easy. The nuts and bolts are labeled so pay attention to that. You'll also need a half inch open end wrench and socket to torque everything down in the end. I grabbed a cup of coffee and listened to some music and took my time. About an hour later I was staring at this giant in the corner of my bedroom. From here on out it only gets better.

ASSEMBLY MUST BE FOLLOWED TO THE "T" OR ELSE ... :( OVERALL, THE DELIVERY CAME STRAIGHT TO MY HOME , NO PARTS WERE MISSING AND THE PRODUCT YOU GET FOR SUCH A LOW PRICE IS UN-REAL!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from definitely what u need if doing p90x I was needing a pull up option to do p90x and researched a lot and this one definitely is just what I needed. I am 5" 11 and weight 170 and it is perfect for me to do pullups, pushups, etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good machine, but low quality material This is a great workout machine. Everything that I needed, pull ups, dips, push ups. The size is good for my room. The only drawback is that low quality metal/nuts/bolts/etc were used. At least two screws on the right arm of the dip damaged the cover metal and pushed everything in.

I love to wake up in the morning and do a few yoga stretch exercises to warm up blood and jump on the power station and do a few sets of pull ups and dips and leg raises. And all this while you're still in your underwear. WIN.

The only thing I wish it had is a set of grips on the pull up side that come straight out at you so you can do the different arm positions. As others have recommended it is good to put some sand bags on the pull up side to do dips. I have a little movement of the unit when doing dips unless I really focus on slow steady movement or put some weight on the other side. I am 6', 225 lbs and no problem with pull ups or the leg and ab exercises.
