It is a super effective device, it acts on your muscle groups with precision, I personally developed an incredible strength with a well adapted food program, I gain muscle while losing weight.

I must admit I was almost skeptical about this purchase. How can they provide the gym pictured for 197 dollars? I picked it up from the Walmart store and brought it into the house in pieces. I'm a woman in my 75th year and I brought it in and assembled it by myself. At first when I looked at the directions my eyes crossed...but when I took it one step at a time it went together beautifully. I was missing one pulley - but the customer service girl was delightful and within a couple days, the missing part came in first class mail. I'm very pleased and would - and have - recommended it to friends.

I'm surprised with the product itself and with the excellent service of Wal-Mart. Gym came with one part missing and one part broken. Called the 800-number of the company and was shipped the replacements; received in 10 days. It may be intimating to assemble once you open the box. But take heart..... the directions are presented in very easy language. Just follow each step and it does go together. UVa football players might find the gym wanting....... but for the "average" guy or gal - it perfect! Small footprint and looks to be built to last.

Sturdy unit that has all you need to get fit or stay toned. Great addition to a home gym.

Very Nice system at a great price

This is a great piece of equipment for a low price. Easy to install. I did it myself in two hours. I ordered the golds gym triceps rope to go along with it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a home gym and doesn't want to spend to much money in the process.

I waited two months after I purchased and set up this home gym to write this review because I wanted to be able to give a pre and post review. Okay so first things first. The gym is inexpensive compared to most. This is because you are getting a low level basic home gym. As long as you know that going into it you are fine. The gym is well worth the money as long as you aren't expecting a lot. I am not a professional body builder and I wanted something simple just to keep my muscle tone up. This gym is perfect for that. It too me, my son and my nephew about 4 hours to set up the gym. The instructions are pretty easy until you get to the pulleys. There are about 14 pulleys on this thing and the pictures are not great. We had a couple of mis-steps but finally got it together. Overall I would give this gym high marks. I only gave it a four because the poor assembly instructions, but overall I would reccommend this to anyone looking for a basic home gym.

Go in with your eyes open

I bought this item on January 12th. I took the time to look at the measurements for the size of this device. The height shown on your site is: 64 inches. When it arrived, we had to change the place we wanted to place it initially, because the device is not 64 inches but 79 inches... I almost turned it around, but as we had it all unpacked and started to mount it, we continued... But I confess that I was disappointed by the lack of precision of the features of the product displayed on your site.

Gold's Gym XRS 30

This is good for the price. Meets all expectations for a home gym. My husband is taller and has a hard time with the pull bar not being high enough, other than that it works great. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the directions can be a little confusing. All in all, it took the 2 of us about 3 hours to assemble. Just make sure to lay out all the parts and take your time assembling. I would recommend.

Good for the price.

If you understand this when purchasing it you won't be disappointed. Its a good home gym in a box, but don't expect to look like Arnold from using it. It takes a couple hours to put together (I did it by myself in 4 hours, and yes I'm fairly competent, I put together my recumbent bike, elliptical and other items). The cabling is a little confusing, but if you read instructions carefully and think before rushing it, its fairly simple.

The machine has a slight sway to it when lifting max loads, but seems to be doing fine. Make sure to grease the areas it call for or it will bind.

Other than that, it is what I expected it to be. Be careful when ordering the preacher pad for this. Only the round post pad works with this gym.

Its not commercial grade...

If you are a Big Body Builder this product may be to light for you but for either a starting fitness person or just maintaining a health and fit lifestyle this is great!.. Machine took a little time to assemble but no big deal!.. Both me and my wife love it to stay fit and active.
We are in our 50's-60's and its great for us.

I received this box in great condition and earlier than expected. All four of the chrome pieces are rusted and had to be reordered. I had to send pictures to this service and she let me know it will be approximately 10 days before they arrive.
This is a huge disappointment since I had scheduled someone to come over and build it for me. I will be paying them 2x for their time. I am still waiting on the pieces and the servicer told me that they will rust if there is moisture in the room. Well, it's an outdoor room with fans and no air conditioning so it will get humid in there. This was not noted in the details of the product.
I may return it altogether, not sure yet. There are so many pieces all laid-out in my work-out room and it has been in the way of our other equipment.

I am disappointed with this item so far.
