Bought this a month ago, and am quite pleased! A bit on the small size for a large man, though perfect for me.. I am 5.2" can't beat the price, shipping was super fast, arrived 2 days after ordering!

Excellent model

I've had this a few months now and it's great. Took about 6 hours to put together. Broke that up over two days. Instructions are very easy to follow. Nuts and bolts are all shrink wrapped and numbered. I'm a 5'2" female and my boyfriend is 6'2" and we both get great workouts on this. Yeah the lower pully isn't the best but we have been doing those exercise sitting on a ball, the floor or kneeling (we have gym mats, easy on the knees)... much better leverage. Ordered online and picked up. The box was ripped open in a few places. Walmart needs to do something about their freight company! We were missing two weights. Called the number and they were shipped out the next day for us at NO cost. Company offers a great 4 year extended service plan for a great price. I suggest getting it. As a broken cable alone would be over $80 bucks! Face it, with lots of use parts will wear. This isn't the type of equipment you find in gyms. 4 stars because this is a good product. An excellent product would be twice the price.

Great product for the price

I bought this product in the end of December 2014. Even one month didn't use it, I already have ripped plastic from cables ( from both - high cable and low cable ). They don't tell that it happens when you use a lot weight. Anyway everything according to the price.

The Gold's GYM XRS50 (ordered on Dec 14 and shipped on Dec 15) delivered on Dec 30 2014. 2 parts were deformed after unpacking the shipment. They were the large foam pad (k/n 42; Qty 1) and the metal front base (k/n 78) which was bent ie cannot touch the floor evenly.

The lower left and right Shroud (k/n 91 & 92) could not be attached properly to the stabilizer (k/n 2) due to misalignment of the anchor plate for M4x13mm screws(k/n 94. (apprx. an 3/4 inch gap).

Also, the misalignment of the base(k/n 1) to be attached with the front base (k/n 78) that caused the front leg (k/n7) could not be screwed (k/n 84)/attached properly to the base (k/n 1) unit itself.

The above feedback was submitted to icon health & fitness via email, no response has been received or whatsoever..

I guess it is still a good piece of home gym for the price paid and I use it every few days.
