Rated 4 out of 5 by ExperiencedDriver from Nothing wrong with these tires... All the horror stories I read were just that - there is nothing wrong with these tires! They are quiet and perform well on dry as well as wet surfaces. Wanted to report on winter snow performance, but no snow around for another 3 months. If they come even close to making the 60,000 mile warranty, these are the best tires for the money spent. If you need performance tires, spend 3X as much for a Pirelli or Michelin, but for my 2005 Focus, these were the perfect solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by baldeagle68 from I love them! I've read the reviews from people on these tires and most of them are positive. I purchased Viva 3 for my 06 Malibu in October, 2015. They have around 7000 miles on them (most of those miles are highway) and so far I love them. They ride smooth, they grip good in inclement weather and are quiet. To expand on the road noise, people have said they are noisy, well I wouldn't necessarily blame the tires. Some of the road noise is because of the type of road your on. I've run highways where your on one part and you hear noise then you go further and you don't. Its not always the tires but it could be the road. I have had the tires rotated once so far and am nearly to my second rotation and they seem to be wearing fine. I get my tires rotated at every oil change at 5000 miles so I only have to go to garage once. Far as I'm concerned, these tires are good for the money. Two years ago, I purchased Viva 2 for my other car. People have complained about those tires. I've put almost 20,000 on them and they have been good as well. I also have them rotated every 5,000 miles when oil is changed and I have gotten good wear on them and I have approximately have the tread left. Far as rotation on both cars, I go according to how manufacturer says u cross rear left to right and move fronts straight back. I also regularly check my air pressure as well and you can tell when its low. All of this will get you more miles out of your tires. I think they are rated for 40,000 miles and I feel I will get that, maybe more and if I do I'll be happy and on the flip side, if I only get say 35,000 I won't complain, I got my money's worth from them. Say what you will about viva 2 or 3 tires, I have both and I love both. Follow your maintenance schedule as close as you can as well, that helps to. Take care of your car and everything on it, it'll take care of you. I learned that a long time ago from my dad and it has paid me many dividends and dad knows his stuff and 60 years of automotive experience backs that up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GoodCop from Smooth perfomance with power grip My first week with my new Goodyear Viva 3 All Season tires. It started on a Sunday, I went to get my Goodyear Viva 3's installed, day one. Once installation was complete, I proceeded to my car only to find it lightly raining. This was my first test. As you know, light rain does not wash the excess oil off of the roads from the traffic. My drive was very smooth and steady. At one point though, I was forced to stop very quickly due to another driver. With my Goodyear Viva 3's, I was able to stop immediately without any problem at all. I bet you could stop them on a dime if you tried. There was no slide, jolting or jumping, just smooth. My second day I found myself in the ice and frozen rain. My Goodyear Viva 3's performed perfectly. I was able to maneuver very well at a slow pace when needed, it seemed as if the Goodyear Viva 3's simply pushed the loose ice and rain completely through the treads and away from my tires and out of my path. With the wide treads, it was flawless. Another safe and smooth trip. By the third day the ice was solid. I did find that the Goodyear Viva 3 All Season tires seemed to harden up somewhat with the colder temperatures, but with the exception of one area that I needed to cross, I slid only once and only slightly. I was able to regain grip and control very quickly. I do attribute this to the Goodyear Viva 3's. Now on the fifth day, I needed to be out again. What I found on this day and evening was about 3 1/2 inches of snow mixed with a light icy rain. Again, with the extra wide tread on my Goodyear Viva 3's, the snow and icy rain seemed to just repel away from my tires, while at the same time clearing my path with ease. Finally, a clear and partly sunny day came along. The width and circumference of the Goodyear Viva 3 All Season tires seemed to perform at their very best. Road hugging, perfect grip, combined with extreme control and ability. Excellent tires. I have truly gotten the best possible experience in all type of weather through this past week. I most definitely and do highly recommend the Goodyear Viva 3 All Season tires. However, I would suggest that if you find yourself having to drive regularly in snow or ice, perhaps you should consider more of an actual winter/snow tire. If you do not encounter winter weather on a regular basis, I can and do say with certainty, that the Goodyear Viva 3 All season tires are the tires for you. Also, being very reasonably priced, while receiving such extreme and excellent quality with outstanding performance ability, these are the tires for you. Rated 5 out of 5 by Faiths13 from Excellent Tires You Can Count On! I have about a 40 minute commute to and from work each day; so needless to say I spend a good amount of time on the road and need to know that my car is in good driving condition. As a previous owner of Goodyear tires I can say without a doubt that Goodyear tires are durable, reliable, and built to last. My previous tires lasted over 3 years with no problems and still had enough tread that I decided to keep them as spare tires. While driving with the Viva 3 tires on my car I have noticed a considerable difference. The ride seems to be peaceful, effortless and feels as though I am gliding down the road. The control and traction of the tires are exceptional and the response time in case you need to stop suddenly is excellent. I can give you two personal experiences: • Lack of Driver Communication - The driver in front of me decided not use their blinkers, then suddenly cut me off to make a quick left turn. I had to make a sudden stop and thankfully when I pressed on my brakes the tires stopped immediately. • Severe Weather Conditions - I had my family with me and the rain was coming down hard and the roads were covered with water. The traction on Viva 3 Tires was excellent and the tires handled very well during a very stressful situation. I can honestly say that I have been able to put these tires to the test and they have met my hopes and expectations. I am very happy to be given the opportunity to test and review the Viva 3 Tires and definitely without a doubt recommend them to friends, family and anyone looking for a good quality tire. Rated 5 out of 5 by NickNack from Great tire... great buy! At first, I was hesitant about buying this specially branded tire made exclusively for Walmart, but after reading the positive reviews in combination with the free installation offer, I decided to give them a try. I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised and pleased with these tires. After driving on them for about 500 miles, I am very happy with my decision. They ride better (smooth and quiet and comfortable) without sacrificing handling. In fact, I have more comfort and better handling than the previous Yokohama Touring-S tires that were on my car (even when they were new). These tires are light and appear to have low rolling resistance. They also have significant tread groves for good water evacuation. I feel considerably safer when driving with these tires. Even though the sidewall feels soft to the touch (which helps with comfort), the handling and grip is still great. The one negative downside is that these tires only have 9/32" of tread depth instead of the normal 10/32" to 11/32" of tread depth. I am assuming this is to further differentiate these tires from the Goodyear Assurrance All-Season tires (which in all practical cases appear to be identical). I will buy these tires again when the need arises. Pros: smooth quiet comfortable efficient (LRR) good handling Cons: 9/32" tread depth

Rated 5 out of 5 by Conduit from Viva 3 I've had a set of Viva 2 tires since 2007 and have rolled over 31,000 miles on them without a problem and no balancing issues and still have around 6/32 or more left. This is my spare car, used to be my primary car ( a 1993 Honda Accord LX) and the tires were 185/70R14, I replaced them with the wheels from a Prelude and went with the Viva 3's in a 195/60R15 size (OEM size on an Accord EX). The Viva 2 was a quiet tire and the Viva 3 is just as quiet, with a very smooth ride. Goodyear has slightly changed the tread block design, but has done a much better job on the sidewall design, a better visual apperance. The treadwear is now a 500 instead of the 440 as on the Viva 2. The grip has been improved on the Viva 3, I have not fully broke the tires in and have not driven them in bad weather, yet. This is a good set of all season tires at a great price. I drive a little bit spirited on the back roads and these give good feedback and will break loose when pushed too hard. For general normal everday driving, it's hard to find a fault with them, a nice quiet and smooth ride. The old Viva 2 did get a little loose in the wet, but was still controllable. I haven't driven these in the wet yet, but the Viva 3's shoud be as good, if not better in the wet. The Viva 3's should be as durable and longer lasting then the 2's.
