Ratings & Reviews+

Goodyear 215/60R16 Assurance Authority Tire is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Tire at Value Pricing My 2009 Camry Hybrid (owned since new) needed its 3rd set of tires at 60K miles. My wife previously drove the vehicle in city driving where constant turning burned through tires in 1/2 the mileage warranty life with noticeable uneven wear on the outside shoulder (due to all those green light turn arrows). I wanted a name brand tire at value pricing given the age and market value of the car. The Goodyear Assurance Authority met the value criteria at $82 each for 215/60R16's and was immediately noticed as a quiet tire that delivered a much smoother ride than the worn out Michelins. Hybrids are not performance vehicles so no special needs, just a need a solid all around performance in a tire which am very pleased with to date. I did decline the road hazard warranty at $10/tire given I've never had a road hazard tire failure and only 1 flat tire in almost 8 years. Looking forward to putting more miles on the tires but very pleased to date and recommend them

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awesome traction, poor lifespan Bought a well maintained used car with a set of these on it. They had just over 10,000 miles on them, documented by the purchase receipt that the previous owner kept and give me with the vehicle. They looked good. Tread was not showing any irregular wear. They made a little noise but nothing really notable considering the all season nature of the tire. No shakes, no shimmy. Snow came in November and I was very pleased with the traction. Car handled like a boss. I drive a hundred miles a day commuting for work, I'm a certified mechanic and am underneath my car every other month for scheduled maintenance. The tires get checked about every 2-3 weeks for air pressure and get rotated at 6,000 like clockwork. At about 27,000 the tires showed symptoms of broken belts. Irregular wear in the treads and vibration that wouldn't balance out. 3 out of 4 tires werent feasible for winter driving in upper michigan. I experienced a pull at the onset of fall and brought it in for an alignment. All specs good, and a rotation eliminated the pull. Played that game twice and now Ive removed the set and replaced them with something else. Since I'm not the original purchaser Im out to dry I guess. Maybe I just got a bad run or something but thought I should share.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tires The price and the service was excellent! The tracking process did not work.. The tires were suppose to arrive on Thursday. The tracking stated that the tires were still in shipping. I called the store to ask about my order and the gentleman stated that my order had already arrived. I showed up at the store at 9:30 and they had my car ready at 10:20. That is fantastic service! Therefore I will be getting new tires for my other car in the very near future. You can thank your staff for that! They were great! And I am telling all of my friends and family about their service. Happy and healthy New year to all of them!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good price but problems with tires. We are not happy with these tires. We put a set on our 2009 Toyota Camry with 57,000 miles on the odometer. Have had the tires less than 4 months. Have had a blowout which was un-repairable, a drift to the left, tire pressure problems and the tires re-balanced twice. Walmart is replacing the tires because of all the returns to the Auto center. We have chosen to pay the difference for a different brand. Michelin top of the line will be our choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth ride I bought 4 tires for my 2007 Camry from Walmart because they have longer thread wear warranty 70k miles. Mr previous Goodyear high performance tires gave me about 50k miles. The ride on my new tires has been smooth so far.
