I regret purchasing a digital gift card online.

After I purchased it from Walmart, It couldn't been activated, and I was suggested to seek support from the Google Play instead. Firstly, I submitted two reports to Google Play with different screenshots of the Store and redemption code respectively. They took me almost a week to wait for a result and the card still didn't work. 

Later, I contacted the Google support team. I told the team my situation and all the ways that I have been done. It suggested me to submit the same report again! That was ridiculous! I told them I have done twice and still didn't work.

Luckily, the team understood and guided me every step to provide them with details and screenshots. I really appreciated the team and it was good and helpful. It took 2 to 3 days of investigation and finally, the gift card could be redeemed!!!! I have spent almost 3 weeks to deal with this issue and I have deferred my plan of using a app from Google Play unexpectedly.

I just want to share my special unexpected experience or maybe it will not happen to other. Good Luck!

It is not a fault of Walmart, but.......

its hard to redeem. they want more info. i give all info they want but until now i cant redeem it. its been a month but until now my egift card is unuse. i hope walmart give a substitution for my egiftcard

Walmart sends you to a different company to redeem. They give you a code, but when you try adding it to your Google account, they ask you to provide proof of purchase and never get back to you. Buy your gift cards at Amazon instead!

It's a scam!

Purchased digital gift card, but now fraud at walmart at the level where you can trust them to buy digital gift card.
