Rated 2 out of 5 by Steve_and_Suzanne from Battery and hardware problems The product worked great the first time we used it, sadly, it was to test it a month before we had the baby. Now one parent unit will not stay on for more than a few minutes (keeps 3x beeping after charge) and the other one opens up but will not accept any button presses. We followed the instructions for the first time charge but I can't believe one month of down time completely destroyed the batteries...and of course, they aren't simple AAAs you can buy anywhere! Stay away from this one. It was a gift to us and it was not possible to get any help in time (what good is a monitor if you have to send it for 8 weeks when you need it!!!).

Rated 2 out of 5 by Brettbkg from Decent monitor -- with alarm quirks It's functional. It has pretty good range -- We clip the monitor to our belt with a carabiner and can go work in our yard. Sometimes we have to leave the monitor hanging in a tree where we can hear it, but generally, I've been very satisfied with the range. The problem we have with this monitor is once every month or two, for no reason at all in the middle of the night (or 5 minutes ago in this case) it just decides to go "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP..." loudly and repeatedly until you simply turn it off and turn it back on again. Mostly just obnoxious for me, but a much bigger deal for my wife who has insomnia and has a hard time sleeping. While I've been generally pleased with this monitor, for this reason, I wouldn't buy it again. (Why is this sudden alarming even programmed into the monitor?? It's apparently a part of the software -- I just don't see why. It's a different alarm than when the monitor looses connectivity and has the occasional "beep beep")

Rated 5 out of 5 by RetailTherapy from Clear, functional and durable We've tried several other brands of monitors and none provided the sound clarity and durability of this monitor. The receiver has been dropped a few times and still works like it was new. Battery last pretty much all night on a full charge. We keep it plugged in most of the time when going to bed. We don't use the vibrate function since the audio on the monitor works so well, you don't need the physical mention that your baby is talking or moving. Reception has been great. Baby is on the second floor and you still get reception in the basement. The house runs a wireless network (likek most) and no interference is heard. A great unit overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cilquave from Love it!! I have a 4 month old, grandson (1st time)..... also, I don't wrote reviews (1st time w/ this, too) & I've already went through ATLEAST 7 monitors..... then I found this one!! It's A LOT of monitor, for a FRACTION of what I've paid for "top of the line" brands/models! For soon-to-be-moms, or new mommies/daddies/"Grammies (like myself)....PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION: getting a good.... NO, GREAT..... baby monitor is all too often overlooked b4 baby gets here!! Don't make this mistake! Save time (& money) by getting a good one!! Save the box (& RECEIPT), test it out .... EVEN IF IT'S NOT THIS ONE.... & do it b4 baby gets here!!! Good luck & thanks y'all!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jaymo1975 from Great, affordable monitor! We have used this monitor for over a year now and have not had one single problem in functionality or workability. You get clear sound & a light indicator of sound shoud you have the volume low, you can see the alert. It holds a decent charge. My only reaspon for not giving 5 stars is that once you have it charged and use it, when it dies from low charge power, you cannot plug it in to continue to use it, you have to plug it in to charge before you can turn it back on. As long as you use it plugged in for the majority of the time and don't rely on using the charged power, this is a great monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dragonmom11 from What can I say.... AWESOME! I bought this model when I had my first in Feb. of 2011. I am now expecting baby #2 any day now and it is still going strong :) I haven't had to replace the batteries in it as of yet and it has received daily usage. The range on this monitor is AMAZING. I can go outside while baby is napping and hang up some clothes on the line and be able to hear her crystal clear. My husband and I couldn't be happier with this monitor. I have had to re-pair the parent units to the nursery units a couple times, but that's really the only issue I have had with them. Hope this helps!
