Description & Features+

Granite•Ware® water-bath canners have been the standard for canning for over 100 years. Our canners produces more even heat by allowing more boiling water contact with the top half of the jars. Used to elevate food temperature above 212-degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or more, which kills all the bacteria found in high acid fruits and vegetables. The water-bath canner creates a vacuum seal when the jars cool, sealing out air and bacteria.
• 21.5 qt. Capacity Canner Pot
• Holds 7 one-quart jars, 9 one-pint jars or 13 half-pint jars
• Provides excellent heat distribution
• Rack included
• Dishwasher safe
• Made in the USA

Granite•Ware® 21.5 qt Water Bath Canner with Rack is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 274.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great canner for the money I love my canner! This was the first piece of canning equipment I ever bought and it's still going strong. The inside is a little water stained from the hard water we have here but it still works perfectly. I have never has any issues with it and I would definitely recommend it to others. It is rather heavy when filled with water so I suggest not moving it around when full of water but you can easily get all 7 quarts in with no problems. I have never had a jar not seal that was processed in this canner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Take time to inspect before buying. The product is fine, but I had to inspect about a dozen, in three different stores, to find one that was not damaged or did not have manufacturing defects. Most of the damage appears to have been sustained either during shipping or when the shelves were stocked, as the item does not come in a box or any type of protective packaging. Many had dents, often with chipped enamel, and some were already starting to rust where they were chipped. Also, in one store the product was displayed with general cookware, which it is not, rather than with canning supplies so it was difficult to locate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Just what I was looking for to can blueberry jam! The same kind of pot I remember my mother using almost 40 years ago. Remember to use pot holders for lifting the rack up and onto the side of the pan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is perfect for the price! It has done the job well. it states not for use on flat top stoves I did not see this until AFTER I got it home. It was not in the product decription. I went and tried it any way and it worked great! It take longer to heat the water thats all. I have used mine over and over and will do so until I need to buy another!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from really disappointed Christmas is a busy time. I purchased a new canning pot for my husband as his old one rusted through after many years of service. The pot lid was sealed to the pot. The mistake I made was in not breaking the seal. The label claimed it was a 21.5 quart pot able to can 7 quarts; 9 pints and 12 half pints. It also said the pot included the wire rack and a booklet on how to use it. Fast forward to July when the hubby took it out to use, broke the seal and found out there was no wire rack or no booklet. On top of that I'm 100% sure after closely examining the pot that it has the wrong label on it. At most 4 quarts or 5 pints would fit and no way could over 5 gallons of water ever fit in the pot. I'm thinking it was their smaller canner I actually got. This one is useless without the wire rack. I bought it at my local store - not on line. Next trip to Walmart I'm going to see if they sell the racks separately. We even saved the rack from out previous pint canner and it was too big to fit the new pot. --not a happy camper today.
