These bags are great for neat storage, not just for trash. One can sort winter or summer clothes by type, and see what one is putting in or taking out. One can also up-end them and put hangers through holes snipped in the bottom, to separate clothes stored on racks. It's much cheaper than special-purpose products and works just as well.

Handy for many purposes

I didn't really want drawstring bags — they concentrate stresses in a way that always results in tearing if used as directed.  But there were no GV tie-top bags available, so I took what I could get.  I should have gone elsewhere.

In budget goods there's usually something that the manufacturer skimps on.  In this case they skimped on the already inadvisable drawstring design.  The result is that the drawstring pockets are ripped halfway open straight out of the box.  The remaining bit of closed pocket rapidly tears open as you open the bag and place it in your bin, so that the string just flops around uselessly.

With this product, you pay more for the addition of a feature which hampers its use and helps with nothing.  I'd really appreciate it if Walmart could just ensure that their actually functional tie-top bags were kept in stock instead.
