I recently tried the Great Value Parmesan Shredded Cheese (280g) and was pleasantly surprised by its quality. This product is very good, comparable to brand name shredded Parmesan cheese.  I purchased to use in salads.  Saves time shredding my own. If you are looking good quality, well priced package of Parmesan cheese that's shredded for convenience, this product is for you.   Highly recommend.

This is a quick and easy option that's affordable. The cheese stays fresh for a good amount of time as well so you don't have to use it immediately after buying it. The shreds are longer so it gives you more options depending on how you like to eat it. I like the long shreds for salads and then break them up when I want a thicker cheese topping on something like baking chicken.

Simple & Tasty

I purchased the Great Value brand shredded parmesan as a topper for my vegetables. At dinner time,I sprinkle it on top when it is being plated. It kicks the taste up a notch, and this product checks off a lot of pluses for me. It is 100% Canadian milk, meets Great Values ingredients symbol, and is under $5. Also, it  tastes great!

Perfect Topper

I got the GV Shredded Parmesan cheese for the first time and was totally satisfied with the taste and texture of the cheese.  I use as a topping on my home made lasagna , pizzas, and onion soup, so I want the best to compliment my efforts, and I was not disappointed in how this cheese works with them.  And it was really economical as well. Will be buying again soon!

Pleasantly Surprised

I have tried this on my spaghetti and it was the best!! I will definitely use it again and is worth the money! Helps me hit my protein goal and stay on track with my dietary needs. My cousin will be making a Mac and cheese roast in the oven this holiday season and she will be using this cheese! Thank you!!

I am an avid cheese consumer but also frugal. I occasionally buy my various selections of gourmet cheese at the local Italian centres but when the economy began to pinch, I am so grateful for Great Value Parmesan cheese because the title speaks for itself.

Great Quality For Price

First time buying this type of cheese by Great Value. I found that is was more sticky inside bag from my normal brand. The expired day was a few weeks away, so thinking it was just not rotated in the stock. Some are months. Would I buy again, might but would look more closely. The reason for buying it,I could not find my name brand.

Very moist

I'm pretty hard on myself who's grated parmesan, and this one I enjoyed on my pizza. Sure, it's not worth the truth and you're grated yourself, but he's spoiled me and is one of the best grated, that I've ever tasted on a pizza

Very surprised with good taste

I wouldn't rate this any better then I would a so called brand name. At the end of the day there is just as much added stuff you just dont need when it comes to store bought items. The taste and value are that of any other brand and it gets the job done

You Get What U Pay For

Will not be buying this again.  It had a weord smell and didnt taste like other parmesean cheese I buy. We did not finish eating the bag and composted it.
