I make iced coffees pretty regularly while I work from home now, and usually keep a straw in my drink for a good part of the afternoon while the drink melts, etc. I was truly surprised that even hours later, the paper hadn't twisted, freyed, etc like typical paper straws. My kids even said the same, so it passed their discerning taste also. Will definitely be purchasing more.

Couldn't tell the difference from plastic

[Employee of walmartcanada] I'm a slow drinker, so straws hang out in my drink for quite some time. This didn't quickly disintegrate like typical paper straws, and held up to my last sip. Definitely recommend. Also love the print!!

Great straws!

[Employee of walmartcanada] These straws are super cute! Fun colours and prints! Great alternative to plastic straws. Definitely more environmentally friendly. They hold up well in liquids, it does have that paper feel that's different to get used to but all places are moving towards paper these days, so this is great to have for parties at home!

[Employee of walmartcanada] These straws are a great value for everyday use or even for themed get togethers.  I use them for my drinks and my friends have loved how cute they are to look at.  I've directed them all to WM to buy these wonderful straws.

So Useful & Pretty

[Employee of walmartcanada] I recently used these straws at a family BBQ and was pleasantly surprised! Unlike other paper straws, they did not become soggy after a period of time, and maintained the structure even after 20 or 30 minutes in liquid. The colours were fun and playful, and a perfect accent in the summer!

However, they are not ideal for children under 4, as they ended up getting bent and falling apart.

[Employee of walmartcanada] In general, I'm not a big fan of paper straws but if I had to choose to use paper straws, the GV Paper Straws would be a good choice.  The fact that they're patterned makes them fun to use.  For the most part, they're quite sturdy and don't unravel like some paper straws are known to do.  If you don't mind using paper straws, these are a great choice.
