Ratings & Reviews+

Gwen Stefani - Love.Angel.Music.Baby is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gwen Stefani sets the bar high for popular music artists on her solo debut album. Love, Angel, Music, Baby received a stunning 4 star rating from Rolling Stone Mag., and has sold in excess of over 3-million copies in the United States alone. "Hollaback Girl" is the first song to sell over a million digital copies, which is unheard of. I recommend this album if you're looking for a little variation in music and not the same old. Now to address the rating of Love, Angel, Music, Baby, the album does not come in an edited version because it wasn't explicit to begin with. "The Sweet Escape", Gwen's sophomore album received a parental advisory notice because the language is a lot stronger then in Love, Angel, Music, Baby, with words much more obscene then the ones in "Hollaback Girl". If you're looking for a clean version of anything on this album then you're unfortunately out of luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best debut albums ever Gwen Stefani was lucky to have prior fame in music, by serving as the frontwoman for No Doubt. With the amazing dance pop song "What You Waiting For", the hip hop pop song "Rich Girl", to the pop rap "Hollaback Girl", this album is amazing. Every track on this album is unique, and have no flaws whatsoever. And to the reviewer asking about why there isn't a radio edit of Hollaback Girl on the album, it's because there never was an explicit version of this album. It's weird how this album has the same explicit content as the sophomore album, but the second album gets the parental advisory sticker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gwen Fangirl, only 1 problem ... Walmart has a rep for selling edited or "clean" cds. This is a good thing. Let me first say that I am a huge Gwen Stefani fan. But I was a little disappointed to find that the cd doesn't contain the radio edit versions of the most popular songs -- like Hollaback Girl.
