I LOVE this little dryer!! I had read a bunch of the reviews online as well as watched videos on youtube.com before I purchased. I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised how well it dries my clothes. It has exceeded my expectations....and this coming from having been using a full size washer and dryer. I moved into an apartment complex that does not have washer dryer hook-ups and once I found this dryer (and the matching washer), it has totally changed my life. No more laundry rooms or laundrymats!!! I can dry two pairs of jean pants and dry it on a 60 minute dry time and they come out perfectly. I have dried as much as three women t-shirts, 5 pairs of socks and a couple pairs of underwear on 90 minutes and works perfectly. I would highly recommend this dryer!!!

I love this Haier Compact Tumble Dryer!

I purchased this little dryer and the matching washer just a week ago. It is GREAT. It does not hold too many items because of it's size, but it dries very well. It is quiet, efficient, a space saver and does an awesome job.
I am in an apt. and do not really have a place to put it so it can be vented outside. So I just saved the heavy duty box and placed it in the corner of my dining room right next to the dryer and made a cubby hole to let the dryer vent blow into. It works great.
It does also have a lint filter and it does not need to be cleaned out every dryer tumble cycle. I have checked it each time, but only about every 3rd time it fills up.
It has several type cycles; timed, heavy, delicate and the such. BUY IT-You won't be disappointed.

Works better than the Laundromat washer and dryer. So much better than what I expected. I am so pleased with it. Even though it is small, it still takes quite a bit of laundry at one time. I also found out that there is an Indoor Electric Dryer Venting kit so I don't have to vent it outside. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have much space for a washer and dryer.

Better than I thought it would be!

So far so good. I can dry my sheets on one cycle which was a surprise. Jeans dry just as easy. The machine cools down before its done so your clothes do not come out warm. I will admit its annoying to changed the lint filter after each load but that is just the lazy in me. Easy to set up. I have not attached it to the wall due to living in a apartment. Im looking to purchase some sort of dryer stand for it. Haier should come up with a solution for this or at least sell a stand made for it. I would think most apartments would be against mounting a 2x4 on a wall. But it works just fine on the floor for now. Fyi I'm venting using the vent in my apartment's laundry area.

More than I expected

We are missionaries who travel all over the United States. Our family of 5 lives in a 36' 5th wheel full-time, so space is limited. It was for this reason, and the great reviews we read, that we purchased the Haier Portable Companion Electric Vented Dryer.

We have owned one other apartment sized dryer (Whirlpool) and used it in apartments and in the large mobile home we lived in. The Haier is even smaller than that one was. Despite its smaller size, the dryer does an excellent job - as good as the larger Whirlpool. With the Haier's light weight and small size, we were able to hang it in our utility closet in the 5th wheel with our Haier washing machine on the floor beneath it. The unit comes with hanging brackets, which work well (we used two 2 X 4 boards attached to studs in the wall for mounting the brackets).

We have been using it for about 2 weeks. Clothes come out dry, not wrinkled (over-filling is a major cause of wrinkled clothes). We have found that the dryer will easily dry a load from our 1.9 cubic foot Haier washer (which holds a remarkably large load of clothes and works great, as well).

My wife is pleased with the dryer's features; she has used it with the automatic presets and it has worked fine for us. With 3 growing boys, we find that we have to do about 2 loads of laundry on most days. The dryer has easily kept up with the demand.

As busy as I am, the joy of not having to go to the laundromat every 4 or 5 days is a great blessing. I highly recommend this dryer.

Note to other RVers: I had to cut a hole in the RV wall to use this vented dryer. We used a vent kit from Camping World and it worked great. I highly recommend a vented dryer, as the non-vented dryers do not do as thorough a job (I have known several people who have used them). Even living full-time in an RV, our daily laundry is as easy as living in a house.

An excellent dryer for those with limited space

I've had this about 3 weeks now and I am so happy we got it living in South Florida & the after noon rains can really drive one crazy when trying to hang dry clothes! So this dryer was the best for are apartment. I have played with the setting on this dry and by far the heavy setting on the dryer is the best for me I would say it take are stuff anywhere from 40 min. to a hour for stuff to dry & I feel like it works better then some full size dryer out there I have Haire washer HLP23E & between the two of them they work great I do an extra spin on are clothes that just me you don't have to do that but I think it helps. In the manual for the dryer it say you fill it to 2/3 full and I have yet to get that full & when I wash I am on my highest setting for the washer so with that said I counted how many clothes I was putting in the dryer & at one time I put 15 T'shirts & the size of the T's are XL and when it come to my hubby work clothes that 5 pair of shorts and 5 work shirts & the dryer handles them great I have washed & dried full size bed sheets I have about done everything to test this dryer! & the only thing I can think of wrong with it is why didn't I order it much sooner so I hope this helps & if your thinking of ordering stop waiting and order it :)

Small but OMG WOW

I have a teeny tiny kitchen with very limited space, so this dryer is just what I needed. It came two days after I purchased it on line. It was in excellent condition, and light enough, I could move it by myself. A friend came over and helped me to mount it to the wall. It was a little bit of a challenge because I have block walls and he had to drill with a masonary bit first and put anchors in there. It's rock solid and no chance it will fall down. I already had a vent to the outside, so I just hooked up to it and there was no problem with that. The dryer is small, and not as hot as the full size models, but I have a line outside and only use it as a back up. It works great when I need it, on those rainy days, etc. I love it for it's size and so grateful to have it hanging above the little Haier  washing machine I purchased the month before. If you're short on space and tight on your budget, you can't beat it!!

Great Value!

Excellent for older or disabled person with limited space. It is alittle bulky, but not heavy, so be sure to have someone who can help you set it up. Works very well and extremely quiet with no vibration. Best investment I've made, absolutely no complaints. Dries a fairly large load, add a dry towel to your load and it speeds up the drying process.

I only gave it 4 stars for 2 small reasons - 1 - the lint filter is at the back of the dryer drum not easy to get to if you have forgotten to clean after previous load & 2  OK I know it has wall mount directions I live in apartment so that is a no go for us. However could they not have included some feet? I am looking for a small something to raise it off the floor which would make the buttons easier to reach as they are on the bottom.
This little machine is a keeper! It dries quickly & quietly, I set it to Normal dry with a load of towels to see how Auto dry would work. Worked better than the dryer I had before the towels were all dry all the way thru - no having to re do any! Does not over bake the  light clothing either! Holds more than you would think!

Good little dyer

This thing is an expensive joke. Much to do about nothing if you know what I mean. Looks great, light weight, quiet...but does it dry your sheets? NO
After hanging my lightweight flannel sheets outside till almost completely dry first, I thought the dryer could handle the few little slightly damp spots left. Half hour later. NOTHING
Thought if I bought an additional laundry extractor for $175 this dryer could perform with dish towels and socks and undies. Forty minutes later...almost dry and only slightly warm to the touch. BUMMER

Lousy excuse for a dryer.
