This machine is currently being used to heat up water only. It doesn't leak, and has no electric pieces to break. It has a easy pour spout( can turn all the way on or a bit at a time). It keeps the water hot, and has a red 'eye' to indicate that it is on/ready. It is quiet after it fully heats up. It does take about 30 min to heat up all 42 cup worth of water( marks are inside the can). The outside is hot to touch so be careful about that.

We bought two of these, one for coffee and the other for tea. Usually in our parties I am the person in charge to serve tea or coffee and I hate that job and I was looking for months to do something better for the big house warming party we were going to have over the weekend.
To be honest, I was very nervous since we were going to try the urns for the first time and we had never used them before. Fortunately both of them worked fine with no issues and I found every body happy. 
These products don't have any bells and whistles. Only thing they have is one silly light that won't lit until the boiling is finished and begins the warming! No switches, LCD screen, etc. Nothing at all. But it does the job well and I recommend them for sure

Very simple to use

I bought this coffee urn to use mainly for a ready supply of hot water throughout the day. I drink a lot of herbal tea to get my optimal water intake, and was tired of having to refill the small coffee maker I had or heating up the kettle all the time. I fill this once in the morning and have plenty of available hot water for use till bedtime--I love it.

Saves so much time..

Fast to brew, delivers consistent product and is very easy to clean and store. Delivers large volumes of coffee with minimal effort. Very pleased!

Excellent Large Volume Coffee Urn

I bought this about a month ago and I'm so happy I did. My kids are avid tea drinkers and this urn makes life much simpler.

This is the second time I've bought this product. It is a very good urn. However I leave it plugged in 24/7 so after a couple of years the water starts tasting metallic and I need to get a new one

Great urn

[Employee of walmartcanada] I bought this a few weeks ago use it for our quilt guild meetings. So far no issues, Love that it heats up fast. I love the size for a group of 50-80 people.

Works great.

Coffee urn works well.  It takes about 1 minute per cup to get ready.   I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the electrical cord is quite short making it necessary to have a well placed electrical socket for serving coffee.  It also does not detach from the coffee maker which makes it less desirable for me (personal preference).  All in all, it does what it is suppose to - - it makes good coffee.

Great Value for the money

we bought this for our church - the old one was making such bad coffee and it eventually died. We had no idea how good coffee could taste again, until we got this new urn! The only negative is that the cord is quite short. Otherwise, very easy to use and clean, and makes great coffee quickly, at a price far below other retailers. It was delivered in less than a week.

Great coffee, finally!

Bought this a month ago for a family reunion.  Coffee was ready in about 35 mins and was really hot and was kept hot!    Only down side is, its needs a longer cable.

I bought this coffee maker a while ago and the basket for the grinds to sit in has holes too big. No matter how large a grind of coffee I used it let pieces of the grounds into the bottom of cups. Very embarrassing to serve from this perk. There should be a filter with it but cannot use one with this machine. After contacting Hamilton Beach they sent me another basket which was exactly the same. If anyone would still like one they are welcome to get mine, I will never use it again anyway.
