Great coffee maker. I love the fact that it does not have a heating element that stays hot. You never have to worry about turning it off. Coffee never tastes burnt because it stays warm in the carafe alone.

Great Coffee Maker

I realize there are a lot of coffee makers that can make just one cup of coffee, but I love the choice you get with this particular one. The ability to brew 10 cups or 2 thermos' or even just one is awesome. My hubby takes the big pot to work with him and then in the morning I can make my own cup, which is awesome because I only drink 1 thermos a day anyhow. Also, one BIG awesome thing is that the filter basket that comes with it, has 2 separate sides so when you brew the 2 thermos' you can brew two different kinds of coffee. Need a cup of decaf and then one of regular? You can do it at the same time. It is pretty cool. I am very happy with this purchase.

I ordered this because I like flavored coffee and my husband likes regular and I was tired of two coffeemakers (2-cup units) on the counter. I've had it a week and so far it's been great. One concern my husband had when I purchased the machine is whether he'd be able to taste my flavored coffee after brewing. He has not complained about it at all. The split-permanent filter is PERFECT for this. Also, I have not found the other reviews about the coffee not being hot enough to be true. It brews the coffee well and I like my coffee at a temperature to drink, not scalding. For environmental reasons, I do wish it came with a permanent filter when we want a full pot. I hate using paper filters.

Great for those who like two different coffees

This is a good coffee maker for those where one spouse leaves for work before the other. You can brew a pot, the first one out the door gets their couple of cups, and there is still fresh hot coffee for the other when they get up later. Additionally, you don't get the burnt coffee taste of a pot that has set on the burner for several hours. This is the second unit we have purchased. I would highly recommend this unit.

I drink Decaf and my husband drinks dark full bodied coffee. With the dual travel mugs we can make one decaf and one regular, his and her coffee to go! We love it. On Weekends we can brew a whole pot for our family and friends. Better than expected and easy control buttons.

We both get the coffee we want~!

My previous very similar coffee maker broke after about 8 years. This one has some improvements; but is not perfect. The lid of the carafe is so tight my small, arthritic hands are having difficulty opening the top. It is very wide and is difficult to get a good grasp. I am loving the GO Thermal cups. I make a pot of 6 cups in the morning and if I need one more later in the day it is really nice to have the feature of being able to brew just 1 cup. Being short, I have to stand on my tiptoes to see inside to make sure I have the correct water level. I love the programmable feature and waking up to the smell of brewing coffee and having the coffee maker shut off after the brewing is complete is a plus.

Just what I was looking for

This is my second one, first one was all stainless steel, pot and maker, it just stopped working, luckily I paid extra for Wal-Mart replacement plan, they had my gift card emailed to me in less then a week.
This is a great coffee maker, with the way it does it, it gives you a full flavor cup each time.
When my first one stopped working, I used my old coffee maker, and hated the taste of it.
This one keeps your coffee hot for hours and not giving you that burnt taste.

Researched and bought this to replace the older model that started to leak. Have no problem with pouring so long as you don't try to pour too fast. Keeps the coffee warm just like the old one, although would have liked the old glass style thermal jug, but like the push button for pouring.
The only bad part was the top catch was broken on arrival, so the lid didn't lift the water dispenser to have access to the filter basket. Contacted HamiltonBeach directly since our local Walmart doesn't carry this model and didn't want the hassel of returning etc. Hamiltonbeach sent a brand new coffeemaker within the week, all is good.

Gooe for what we need

We had the old Hamilton Beach Stay or Go coffee maker and loved it. When it stopped working, we figured that we would replace it with the new one. We were very disappointed with the quality of this new one. After using it for a week, our brewed coffee smelled and tasted like burnt plastic. We tried using vinegar, but it didn't help at all. We will return it and look for a different product.

Plastic Taste

I'm a customer of Wallmart market... I bought this product online and I was searching a Coffe maker with a thermal pot... this Hamilton Beach 10-Cup Stay or Go Thermal Coffeemaker appeared like a good product with a very nice presentation ( I asked my friends about the brand Hamilton and they said me that is a 'good' brand...) I receive my product from 4 weeks ago, it was shipped correctly... in fact, from the beginning I'm not very happy with this purchase:
1 when I opened the package I saw that require special filters (filters 'Daisy' and not conical standard !)
2 thermal pot is very large and poorly practical. But above all the jar drops abundantly when are poured the coffee in his mug and there are a lot of steam with water droplets around the machine!
3 but more importantly, it is when the last week (after 2 weeks!), the machine no longer wanted to stop automatically! it started to steam across the kitchen, the clock screen became all blue without indications and I had to stop by unplugging the cable from the wall! ... otherwise impossible! Now I've to wait until the flow of the water end to cut it by the 'off' button...!
Today I no longer want this coffee maker which is very bad product, and I want to return it to Wallmart. I'll redeem a conventional machine with a standard Thermal jar doesn't drip!
I would'nt recommend this product for which I spent $ 80.00 and which gives me no satisfaction. I would rather recommend the Krups brand or CuisinArt (without grinder!) that are a bit more expensive it's true, but now I can see why!

Unstatisfied from this very bad product!!
