Great coffee maker. I love the fact that it does not have a heating element that stays hot. You never have to worry about turning it off. Coffee never tastes burnt because it stays warm in the carafe alone.

Great Coffee Maker

walmart.com

Mr. Coffee gets grounds in the coffee, Cuisinart Grind and Brew pause and pour feature broke quickly (and there's a really loud high-pitched beep that tells you the pot is brewed-and wakes people up). This coffeemaker, however, is the bomb. Love it for my needs. I make my tall caff separate that gives me two cups and my husband makes his decaf. Awesome. Coffee stays hot in thermal mugs and carafe; doesn't keep cooking. Absolutely no problem pouring out of carafe as referenced in some Amazon reviews. Must have redesigned it. Appearance-wise, would prefer it if there was no product label on carafe. Got it shipped to my local Walmart for free pickup. I really like this coffeemaker!

Fave coffeemaker ever

I was reading the reviews and was surprised by all the problems people are reporting. Had mine for 2 years, making travel mugs for me in the early morning and minimum of 2 pots throughout the day for my wife.

Coffee pours great out of the carafe, no leaks. The lid twist on tight against a rubber seal. You push a button on the handle to pour into your cup. Very good design.

Coffee taste great, stays hot in the mugs and carafe. I came here to buy a unit as a wedding gift. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to have the convenience of programable brewing to either a carafe or mug.

2 Years use Great Product

Hamilton beach coffee maker's are a great machine's. My wife and I owned 2 of these coffee Maker's they always made great coffee an stayed hot always. the new we just got came with 2 travel mugs included with the machine. all you have to do make your coffee with 6 coups of with water place your mugs on the machine side by side. you will hot coffee for work in the morning. Or you just make your coffee at home and enjoy it.

A great coffee Maker

My previous very similar coffee maker broke after about 8 years. This one has some improvements; but is not perfect. The lid of the carafe is so tight my small, arthritic hands are having difficulty opening the top. It is very wide and is difficult to get a good grasp. I am loving the GO Thermal cups. I make a pot of 6 cups in the morning and if I need one more later in the day it is really nice to have the feature of being able to brew just 1 cup. Being short, I have to stand on my tiptoes to see inside to make sure I have the correct water level. I love the programmable feature and waking up to the smell of brewing coffee and having the coffee maker shut off after the brewing is complete is a plus.

Just what I was looking for

Researched and bought this to replace the older model that started to leak. Have no problem with pouring so long as you don't try to pour too fast. Keeps the coffee warm just like the old one, although would have liked the old glass style thermal jug, but like the push button for pouring.
The only bad part was the top catch was broken on arrival, so the lid didn't lift the water dispenser to have access to the filter basket. Contacted HamiltonBeach directly since our local Walmart doesn't carry this model and didn't want the hassel of returning etc. Hamiltonbeach sent a brand new coffeemaker within the week, all is good.

Gooe for what we need

PROS: Besides the obvious, I think the thermal carafe is great. If you read the booklet, it suggests filling the carafe with hot water before brewing - it works significantly better this way! It really makes a great cup of coffee.
CONS: After about a month of use, the only complaint I have is that the travel mugs aren't really quality. The "stainless steel" is coming loose from the plastic inside. They do keep the coffee hot for a long time though.

Love It!

So I bought the coffee maker back in December... So I have had if for approx 2 months and I got up this am to make a pot and I would not work. The appearance is great, love the look. Coffee pot leaks when you pour so you must pour over sink. No problems w/ the thermo cups yet those were a nice addition to the coffee pot. But the canister does not keep coffee HOT.. Comes out luke warm and gets cold real fast. I was going to return the item but as I was bagging it up I accidently dropped the pot and the handle broke off so I am sure I would not be able to replace it now so basically I am out seventy dollars. I think I will just buy a cheap one this time they seem to last longer or I can just go get my grandma's. Whatever happened to coffee pots lasting the technology on some of these items look good and all but the expensive item only lasts a few months. I need a coffee maker that will last not fall apart especially for the money you spend on them.. I will continue my search... very disappointed :(

Great Look but thats about it...

We had the old Hamilton Beach Stay or Go coffee maker and loved it. When it stopped working, we figured that we would replace it with the new one. We were very disappointed with the quality of this new one. After using it for a week, our brewed coffee smelled and tasted like burnt plastic. We tried using vinegar, but it didn't help at all. We will return it and look for a different product.

Plastic Taste

This coffee maker has several design flaws: - No level indicator on the coffee container; - No stove; - The coffee carafe flows all the time when pouring into a cup or when pouring water into the coffee maker. I wrote to Hamilton Beach and they sent me another coffee decanter that has the same flaws. In short, it is a very bad product... do not buy!

Very bad product!
