If you hate the super tight compression socks....buy these.  These are normal socks that you don't turn blue and wheeze trying to pull them onto your feet.  I had made a bad mistake and bought the compression socks last time.  I have small feet.  Those things were beyond horrible to try to put on.  These are NORMAL socks.  They don't squeeze you feet.  They fit like socks should fit.  Awesome!!! The picture is compression tight socks and this normal sock.  Same size.  Do not die trying to pull on super tight socks.  Buy these!

I accidentally bought 3 packages instead of two for my grandsons' expected "socks for Christmas from Gramma".  I kept one pack for myself, and i love them! Perfect mid-weight, and great quality.

Newest process revision changing the knit pattern in the elastic barrel and cuff of the stocking yields a cuff that loses its shape and neat appearance due to the movement of the elastic band, within.  Resulting in a rumpled appearance.

The product I received was not what was pictured.  I ordered Hanes gray cushion crew socks, 6pk.  What was received was a knock off subpar gray crew sock packaged in a clear bag with a sticker label.  The quality was horrible.  I can buy the same quality at the dollar store.  These are NOT genuine Hanes socks.  DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Socks do not have the Hanes logo on them and are in a plastic bag with a sticker on it saying recycle, reuse???  Also the crew part is all stretched out and definitely not worth the mark up price they charged.

Not real Hanes socks

See pics. Old Hanes crew socks versus newly ordered versions. 100% decline in quality. The elastic is exposed in the new and contacts skin. The new developed holes in wear points after one week. The old Hanes crew socks wore like iron, were the most comfortable socks I ever bought, and now they are pure junk, with 80% less material. Hanes is making some very poor business decisions. I would have remained loyal for life, but after this experience, I will never buy a Hanes product again, ever.

Threadbare junk

The photo tells a story.  The current style 185L6 is on the bottom, while the style H856 (circa 2009) is on the top.  Both are Size: 10-13.  Obviously that are not the same size. Notice how the current style is not shaped like a foot - it's straight.  That cause the fabric to wrinkle and pucker at the top when it is bent into the shape of a foot.  Notice too how much larger the current style is. I'm an 11-1/2 and it's way too big around for me, while cramping my toes.  It's just a weird shape for a sock.  The seam at the tow seems too low and the ribbed part at the top seems too short.  There is so much extra fabric in the width that it flops when I walk without shoes. And with shoes, it bunches up.

Those 2009 socks were great.  Possibly the best I've ever had.  Hanes called them "Perfect Toe" and that was not much of a stretch.  Even after an untold number of washings, they still fit great and feel great.  I just don't understand how a company that got it right would go to all of the trouble to change it to something that is so much worse.

innaccuarate size, poor design, shape and comfort

These are the worst quality socks I have ever purchased. The elastic part of the socks break everytime I put them on so that they don't fit snug around above my ankles/lower calves. After a couple months they are all stretched out and fall down when I put them on. I have never owned a part of socks where you literally hear the elastic bands breaking everytime you put them on.

The worst

Calling these socks "Cushion" is incredibly generous, they are as thin as any socks I own. The elastic in the ankles is barely adequate to hold the socks up, I doubt it will last beyond 5 washings. I would return them but the return expense would probably exceed any refund I might receive. In future, I will try to stick to local purchase of this sort of clothing item so that I can see and touch what I am buying.

A Huge Disappointment

this item is advertised as 100% cotton but it's content is 56% polyester and 43% cotton, 1% spandex...hardly close to 100% cotton as advertised. fake advertising to get the product sold.
