We installed this hose with our shower remodel in 2021. It lasted a little more than 2 years before the hose connection at the wall outlet failed. The failure occurred where the hose connects to the threaded wall coupling. We are awaiting warranty service through the local vendor we purchased through. Hopefully hansgrohe has addressed the manufacturing and quality issues and the replacement lasts longer than the original.

Great until it failed

We remodeled a bathroom in 2021, using matte black Hans Grohe throughout. This hose, used with a shower head, has only lasted 3-4 months before failing. My experience with Hans Grohe customer service has been great, as they have sent replacements quickly…at least 4 times. It's getting frustrating, please fix the problem.

Poor quality

The person who got 10 yrs out of this thing is an anomaly - we have four of these shower systems in two homes and it breaks in the same juncture every time.  The hose has a faulty connection where it attaches to hand shower and falls apart without effort or warning.  I love everything about the system but the hose.  Buy something else with a decent lifespan - not a competitor (per earlier reviewer accusation) but a tired property owner who expects better engineering for the money.

Bad design - Replacing for 3rd time

I wish that I had read these reviews before buying. The shower hose disconnects. Mine was infrequently used. This is clearly a design defect. The company should stop selling them until it is corrected. I don't know what product Davey Wavy (a product reviewer who gave a rave review) used, but my experience is the same as the others who have posted. Stay away from this product or be prepared to replace your hose periodically.

Design defect. Hose disconnects from shower hand held.

The first failure happened after 3 months usage.  Just receiving the replacement, another one failed.  While waiting for another replacement, the first replacement broke.  So far 3 hoses totally fail. For this defected hoses, we think to replace whole shower sets. I don't know why they recall this product and still on the market.  I wish to read reviews before we bought this.

The hose was installed in May and failed in December.
Very disappointed with my Hansgrohe bathroom showers. They were overpriced and not worth the money!
I'll be purchasing Delta next time!

Junk. Never saw a hose made like this.

Just about a year of use prior to Failure. brass nipple just popped out of the hand-shower end of the Techniflex hose. water gushed all over. To me, the designers, know nothing about construction of the designed product, have no idea how the product is used, and do not meet my expectation for an expensive product. Poorly done Hansgrohe

exceptionally poor hose

We have 2 of these shower heads and both failed after less than 2 years of use. We received the replacement hoses but the installation instructions are not clear. It's also hard to remove the old one! A real headache for an expensive shower system!

Not sturdy!

The hose broke at the wall end after 8 months of use.

Hose failed

Hand held shower head hose failed after just a few months of use.  The end came off during a shower.  I've never had such an expensive last for such a short time!  Very disappointing!  I expected much more!
