Ratings & Reviews+

Hartz Diet for Hamsters is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not suitable for rats I was buying this for my two rats before I knew better, but after a few months my black rats turned brown from malnutrition. As soon as I switched to another brand their fur turned black and glossy again. I definitely would not recommend this for rats or any small animal. No food can be "universal" without sacrificing proper nutrient balance. No one would ever feed a cat only dog food or a dog only cat food, so I don't see why people think it's okay to feed rats, mice, hamsters, and gerbils the same food.
