Ratings & Reviews+

Hatchet (Unrated Director's Cut) is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't listen to the bad reviews. If you like a good slasher film, then this is what your looking for. Don't expect great acting, or a good story, or award winning filmmaking. This is just a low budget slasher film that does what its supposed to, and thats entertain. The death scenes are great, and are very creative, I'm a huge horror movie buff, and I haven't seen any of these kind of deaths before. Overall, if you want a mindless slasher flick, this is for you. If you want something brilliant, and well acted, well then you shouldn't be looking at slasher films to begin with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WASTE OF MONEY!!! The publishers description is misleading! It's not the worst movie, has some funny parts in it, but it also has extremely bad acting!!! I love horror movies, but the killing scenes were silly!!! I don't usually leave reviews, but this is a total waste of money and time!!! Bad acting, bad filming, bad script, etc......

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Your Average Horror Movie Horror movies come in three types. The Good, The Bad and the So Bad They Are Good. Hatchet falls squarely in the last category as it doesn't even attempt to build suspense and goes straight to the over the top violence. Not a movie for serious horror fans, but if you enjoy a fast paced gorefest that doesn't try to be something it isn't then you'll probably enjoy this movie.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from hmm not the best movie out there Its good, but when it comes to the killing scenes, its so fake, some parts are hilarious, but the end was just so confusing, and it dosent show what happens, and it just didnt make since
