I upgraded from an old piece of junk chair, so I must give this one 5 stars. I am 5'7", male, 170lbs, and the chair is curved just right in the seat and back to fit my body perfectly. It looks great in my computer corner of the room. It is definitely right for the price. It is built strong with the back firmly anchored to the seat, and then the arms attached to both the seat and back for further strength.
Others had mentioned that getting the chair to rock takes a couple steps. I had to go back to other reviews to learn that the knob under the seat must be loosened, and the height adjustment arm must be pulled out to allow the chair to rock. I've been using the chair for a few weeks now, and did not experience the loose arms issue that some other reviewers experienced. Perhaps the manufacturers adjust the length of the screws that attach the arms since the reviews.

Right for the Price

I decided to go with a fabric chair due to the leather chairs constantly falling apart after 2 or less years of use (leather just starts falling part even on the more expensive ones)
I have not had much use on this yet so can't talk for the ware it can take but it should be better than the leather chairs. I went with the navy color and it looks awesome specially with the silver accents. I do fear the silver paint will slowly ware off the plastic though but time will tell.
Over all very happy so far.

loving it

I sit and play my computer games all day and it doesn't hurt my but. its a keeper. I had to use multiple pillows with my last chair. just hope the chair stays like this for then next few years.

Comfortable

This is a nice chair at a great price. Has really nice back support. Very professional looking. Im buying one for my husband because he loves it too. He has severe back pain and the back support it provides relieves his pain.

Needed a new chair for my desk and other random crafts I do at my kitchen table. I looked at several popular websites to meet my needs. This one was by far the best option and a solid affordable price as well. Seems to be very well made, and will be fine with my lab who climbs on everything. The only minor downfall is i had to have my husband put the arms on the chair, because they were either made kinda funny, or something, but there was no way I was able to get them on there by myself. He had to push and pull and everything inbetween. But all in all this chair is a solid buy. You won't regret it.

Fantastic!

i sat in this chair at a family event. i went home and ordered it that night. i have back problems and nerve pain down both legs. this chair is fabulous for my back. it is true that the arms are loose, but i dont care, its totally worth it. i ordered washers for it and plan to install them to fix the arm isue. it looks so nice also.

chair is a perfect 39.99$ item.

The quality of manufacture is very low for the price I paid. embedded nuts were crooked,  seams were stitched very poorly.

just ok and very very overpriced

Unfortunately this chair didn't work out for me.  I followed the directions and carefully assembled, but the chair was literally off level; the seat was tilted downward right to left.  I put a level across the arm rests and the slope was 1/4-inch in that short span.

I was disappointed because I knew I had to return it.  I couldn't see myself using a chair that wasn't perfectly level for any period of time, let alone the next 7 to 8 years.

Thankfully Walmart provided a prompt refund when I returned the chair.

Not a good chair

My reasons for buying this chair were 1) so I would not have to break isolation to replace the broken chair I had, and 2) I liked the color.  When I got it 95% assembled, and discovered that the last screw I needed to put in did not have a proper socket into which to screw it.  I ended up going to the nearest Walmart to return it and bought a less expensive, black instead of purple chair that has proven to be everything I need it to be.
