Also it will temporarily discolor skin if you don't get it washed/wiped off well. The consistency is nice and thick/rich, and does a nice job in conditioning hair. While not perfect, it does seem to be slowly working towards gray coverage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to color my hair, but I try to limit it to 2 to 3 times a year. My hair can get damaged, dry, or brittle with too many applications. I've tried a lot of products to protect my hair from over-coloring. Of course, I use shampoo and conditioner made to maintain color. I have tried hair color root sprays, but they are so messy and last only a short duration of time. I've also tried hair dye for my roots, but it often looks a bit wonky. However, hims undercover hair color and conditioner is a game changer. It's very easy to use, and it can all be done in the shower. No messes to clean up or ruined clothes. After just 5 minutes, my hair looked like I just stepped out of the salon. The color looked renewed, and my hair was refreshed. It is gentle and causes no dryness or damage.  In fact, it even made my hair look shinier and healthy.

It's pretty cool because you use it while you're in the shower, and you just leave it on a few minutes and then rinse it.  It smells really good, so that's also a plus. It is very thick, which I liked because it didn't flop right out of my hands when I squeezed some into my palm. I thought it would be more dramatic of an effect with the color, but it was very gradual over the course of multiple washes. I do like it though because it's pretty easy, and it smells great.

It gradually adds color but you have to do it a few times and be patient. It's not bad, maybe with regular use it will work better.  Wear gloves if you're worried about staining your hands, or wash them right away. It doesn't smell bad either, and his hair feels nice too.

Hims Cover Color Conditioner- Light Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hims color depositing conditioner didn't seem to work on my husbands hair. It looks brown out of the tube, but just didn't seem to change anything after several uses. It has a nice mild scent to it and easy to use squeeze tube. It stores easily in the shower. Maybe if he tries a darker shade it will deposit more color. The light brown just did not do it. The grays still appear the same.
