I don't know why people are giving bad reviews based on service but this product is much better than other brands in quality and price. I got so many of them and they are working like charm, no problem at all and besides my kids are very happy with their mp3s, thats what I needed. Thanks Hip Street bringing this product to Canada.

great price for what you get anyways. some issues i have with this product is that when turned off and then turned on again it has some sort of format error....

I bought it last year and used it a lot for walking/biking. Nice and compact, inexpensive, so I wasn't worrying about it getting wrecked if it fell and hit the road. Put it away for the winter and when I pulled it out this spring it wouldn't take a charge. It's really close to the warranty time frame (possibly past), and for the price of replacement I'm not sure it's worth the shipping charges, especially if the warranty turns out to be expired. I think my next one will be the one that takes the micro SD card...but even if I have to replace one a year, I can still do that for 4+ years before I hit competitors price points for a 2GB comparable product...and who knows what will be on the market then. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, unless I first warned them that in a year they might have a cute pink storage device, not an MP3 player. It was fun while it lasted.

I bought this and plugged in some Sony ear buds and noticed straight off that the music didn't sound right. Only the background tracks were playing, not the vocals and other overlayed parts of the songs.

I tired 7! other sets of ear buds and headphones in varying brands (including buying a HIP STREET set of ear buds) and only one set worked. A huge, heavy set of headphones that is actually made to be used with a PC set up. Obviously not ideal for any kind of mobility. I would use the thing every day if I could get it to work.

I am so disappointed.

I'd give this a negative number if I could.

I spent 2 hours loading songs only to find out the sound was terrible! No matter what we tried. Would never purchase again and will try to return tomorrow.

Only time i can listen to the music on this is if i hook it up to my car stereo when i try with my headphones it tells me there's no music on it and it isn't just this one either i purchased the black one also and exactly the same thing
