The construction and quality are good and at $250cdn is also excellent value compared to the all the competition I looked at. You also need 210lbs of sand and a cover for protection during the off season so about another $70.

The base is sturdy and easy to assemble. The umbrella is large and covers a good area. Looks very nice.  Higher quality than I expected.

Excellent umbrella for the money.  Canvas is not super heavy but blocks the sun.  We have 2 the same.  Last year's is in great condition.

Overall I really like this umbrella for our space. Great coverage, and lots of adjustments available between raising and rotating. The reason for my 2-star review: there is one fairly important bolt hole that not a single bolt will fit in. It is identical to 3 other bolt holes in the assembly but something is wrong with the threading. We're hoping this doesn't impact the sturdiness by omitting it. Once the umbrella was up, we realized there's a hole in the canvas that could not have possibly happened during assembly. Because this umbrella was delivered late, we had no choice but to put it up and use it, making the return process far too annoying to pursue.

Poor craftsmanship in the details.

I just assembled the umbrella, it was an open box and it lacks the piece to rotate the umbrella and the base is damaged
