The product is sturdy and quite heavy. It was easy to put together and the instructions were clear. However you'll need a screw driver.

Great looking shelf. Easy to assemble. I ended up getting a second for my son's room. Would definitely recommend.

The shelf was easy to put together and the quality is good.

There was some minor damage to the side pieces, leaving cracks on the inside. I had some wood glue on hand, and thankfully that was enough to hide the fact it was damage. In the end, the fact it was damaged upon delivery still leaves a sour note.

Minor Damage

I first ordered online and had to return because one of the feet came broken, which by reading reviews is common with this. But I really loved the look of it and found they had in stock in another store close by, so I tried again. This time a success! I easily put together myself in no time, and looks great in my home! So I'll give 3 stars for the run around of the whole experience, but happy with my second time purchase of it!

Risky

After I opened the box, I saw lots of messy packaging fragments, but also found one wooden component cracked. Then, I returned it for a refund. That's the end of the story.

Cheap Quality

Looks nice but the quality is terrible. Take extreme care assembling this unit and I suggest you use wood glue to help with assembly. DO NOT over tighten the assembly screws as the particle board shelves will splinter and crack. I purchased this unit twice for my son and each one was damaged in the box. I just repaired the cracked pieces as I couldn't be bothered to return the units. These kits make other kit style furniture look like heirloom pieces.

Looks good but terrible quality.

Ordered bookcase 2 times and both showed up with broken pieces. Box was not damaged in both cases. Bookcase is very weak materials. I do not recommend buying it.
