I have never paid as much for a kitchen trashcan as I did this one.  However, I was tired of the cheapie trash cans and even more tired of picking up the lead off the floor.  I'm glad I spent the money I did. I absolutely love this trashcan.  It's easy to put a new bag in. It's easy to remove a bag. The pedal works perfectly well. The lid opens and closes easily.

An expensive but well worth the price trashcan

Far better than the similar looking Rubbermaid ones. The lid actually opens all the way and it's easy to pull the top up to change out the trash bag unlike most of the others I've tried. The size fits a typical 13 gallon trash bag. The only downside I've found is this container is slightly more square than the others that I've had, which were more rounded, so it seems to fit less trash. When I pull out the trash bag there's more empty space that could have been filled but just didn't fit in the container. For me, the ease of the lid and changing out the bag are worth having the slightly smaller space.

Better than Rubbermaid

I never thought I'd take the time to review a garbage can, but here we are! This can is perfect! Yes, its on the pricier side, but it is worth all the extra. The bags don't sag or slip, the lid softly closes. Its so easy to use. It looks very sharp as well for being a simple step on trach can.

Worth it!

Great garbage can! Sleek, fits 13gal bags %26 still has some room to spare. Easy open, sleek looking. My previous one was from a well-known brand and it broke. They wanted me to buy parts from them! I found this one at Walmart and it is the same can. For half the price.

Lid holds bag in place and I'm able to almost fill the bag while in the can unlike my previous can that would only hold about 2/3 while still in the can.

Our dog constantly tries to get into our trash can. Or old one has a lid that was too easy for her to get her nose under to open. This one is much more secure and looks good in the kitchen.

Nice

it's nice looking.  I like there isn't a lot of parts on top to get dirty and trash to fall into.   The lid is opened only by the pedal and it slams the cabinet every time, fast mechanism.  I'm not always in front, so have to lift the whole lid to put trash in.  I'm happy with my purchase

I would love to like this trash can, but it's the second one that we've bought from the same brand, and within a couple of months, both have had the  pedals to open the lid break off. There are no rowdy kids stomping on it. They are just not good quality. The bottom also leaks. :/ It's just not worth it, unfortunately.

I really wanted to love this garbage bin.  I'm still using it, but I'm disappointed in the fact that if anything heavy is in it, the bag pulls away and sits loose in the pail.  I'm using the proper size bag, it just doesn't hold.

Looks good, but not as efficient as it could be

The petal to open the lid is built bad. Anytime you step on it, it opens so fast it
Scratches the wall. It doesn't matter if you stoplight or not it flys open and messes the wall. There's no way to remove it.
