I love the look in my livingroom . I brought four. Two to put together as one . Two for my bedroom and two in livingroom.I wanted a wall length entertainment stand and I got it for cheap. I love the fact it didnt take my long to build . I'm a woman and I built by myself. If I can you can.

I wanted a change in my sunroom/home office and decided on a comfy sectional sitting area. I looked and looked and the comfy sectionals in my small budget were about eight weeks out. So I put on my diy cape and 'hacked' three tv stands. Because the stands are only made to withstand 100 lbs or so, I build a free standing frame around them. Used some pine bed slats for on top (but any would probably do) and used a twin memory foam mattress that I already owned on one side and a memory foam mattress topper on the other side (because I was on a pretty tight budget). My explanation does not do it justice, it turned out FABULOUS, so shabby chic, which was what I aiming for. And I have so much storage underneath. As for quality, as in my headline, I would compare it to Ikea. One thing I want to mention - hopefully Walmart reads these reviews. You missed the boat on marketing here Walmart.. Since Mainstays is a Walmart brand and Hart is a Walmart brand, in the instruction manual where the list of tools needed for assembly, a Hart Phillips Screwdriver and a Hart Flat Screwdriver and a Hart Hammer were not mentioned..........just saying.

Move over Ikea

This was super easy to put together, it took my boyfriend approximately about I would say an hour or hour and a half. It's very sturdy and holds my TV up very good. I actually have a 58 inch and it says it holds up to 42, but my TV fits on it perfectly and it holds it sweet. I didn't put the stand pieces on my TV yet because I could not find them I think they're on one of the boxes, I'm actually in packing but it fits great. I would definitely suggest getting this to my friends and family.

Great Buy

Really good entertainment center very sturdy! If you're looking to buy this here's my review on it it's a honest review it could've been a bit taller so I can see just a bit better but if you like short stuff or whatever this is for you it can actually hold up to a 50-55 inch tv it can even fit a sound bar in front of it if you have one and willing to put it on the entertainment center so here is a picture of mines!

Really great entertainment center I recommend it!

Honestly for the price you can't beat it! Took me (F 29) maybe an hour and half to assemble by myself while watching tv. Might have not done it perfectly but just used a screw driver. So it's easy enough. There is a slight chip (1/2inch) in the side but not worth returning. Plus free shipping and delivered to my second floor apt. Totally worth it!

Very happy with this purchase!

I ordered the rustic oak color. It's definitely more gray toned in person than it looks in pictures. I've ordered other rustic pieces from Walmart in the past and they've been slightly warmer in color. Still, it's a nice simple affordable piece, and very low profile.

Good for the price

Purchased this tv stand for my living room. I was looking for something inexpensive and to store video game consoles and other items.  I have my tv above the stand on the wall. I love the color of it and seems to be very sturdy and probably took me about 20 minutes to put together by myself   Would recommend this item

Great price, sturdy, easy setup and attractive

Really thick and sturdy.  I had to struggle just a hair to get my foldable totes in the sides, but got them to fit. There is no back so it is open all the way through. I do kinda wish the sides were just a smidge wider so the totes could fit easier, but I guess that is just a preference thing.

Great  tv stand

I bought these for our game room to hold the gaming systems. They look nice and do great for holding the games. Only dislike was some spots on the finish that shows its not the greatest material or durability. They are really heavy and very easy to put together.

At first I thought the unit was very much like Ikea, in the way it went together, with camlocks, etc. But it's not nearly as well done as Ikea! I put the unit together (I'm a 59 year old woman, average strength). I've put together dozens of Ikea units so am quite familiar with the camlocks and how to tighten them. The camlocks on this unit are very flimsy and BENT. Again, I'm not an overly strong woman. I had to remove one and take a hammer to hammer it back straight, but then another camlock bent only it broke. Fortunately I had some spare Ikea parts including some camlocks, which (lucky for me!) were the same size. Comparing the two camlocks was like night and day. Ikea's are strong, these Mainstays are weak. So be very careful when working with these camlocks as they warp and bend quite easily. Finally got the unit together and it holds my TV quite nicely and looks nice. But I am a bit worried about the overall strength of the unit. I don't consider the $52 price tag to be "cheap", so I expected better quality in the construction. Most of the holes for the wooden pegs were also too large, and so when you lifted up the piece to put it into place the pegs would fall out. Made assembly take longer, and was more frustrating to work with. Again, not Ikea quality. But Ikea wanted too much to ship (they are closed for the Coronavirus), so hence the reason I purchased this unit instead.

one of the legs broke while assembling. I did not return coz it took so much time to assemble. just am working with what is left. its a really cheaply made product. stay away
