Hometrends Super Slim Body Fat/Hydration Digital Scale is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from great scale one problem bought the scale today and while it measures as advertised it does not provide a good legend of symbols which doesnt allow you o spwcifically appareciate what you are reading

Rated 1 out of 5 by from INACCURATE I stepped on the scale about 5 times and every time I got a different number. The number fluctuated between 7lbs. Second, the information on the screen doesn't tell you much as to what you're reading and the manual doesn't make it any more clear. I don't recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unreliable Bought it two years ago. Has always been unreliable and inaccurate. It gives you three different weights when you get on it three times in a row! It has lots of nice and programmable options though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing a LARGE amount of detail in the manual I got this scale over the weekend and while it weighs accurately there is no real legend to help me figure out what is being measured exactly as this scale uses symbols. I will state that I only had one manual in the box which started with French instructions. If I was not bilingual I wouldn't know half of the features this scale has as the instructions are a little more detailed in the French guide compared to the English. I'll probably be returning the scale. The price was right but it doesn't make sense to have a product and not know how to use it. There's no manual that I have been able to find online either. Ah well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Uncertain about readings. While most home scales don't give very accurate readings, I'm getting a reading about five pounds higher than another scale I've been using. One of the two is wrong. Until I get a reading from a professional scale I can't say which is right. The problem with digital scales is that they require precise components and engineering. If the sensors are too cheap or not quite installed properly they can result in false readings. They also can't be calibrated. And they can easily give false reading for body composition. However, from what I've tested the readings are consistent regardless of how I stand on the scale. I've tried standing on it with one foot and still got the same reading. It was able to detect an appoximate increase of 10 lbs when I held a 10 lb weight, but it didn't quite increase exactly. (It's possible the weight itself isn't exact.) So if there is any error occurring it's likely in the computer. For a cheap scale it appears decent, but if you're concerned about accuracy you'll want to spend at least twice as much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk DON'T BUY! Bought it a year ago. Worked ok, battery died, replaced it and now it won't do anything. Don't wastep the money on this cappy product.
