Does a great job on smaller carpet areas. I spot spray stains and use plain water to wash and rinse most other areas as needed. The fresh water tank doesn't hold much and needs refilling often. The gray water tank needs emptying at the same time since it fills almost as quickly. Cleanup is not too bad. Be sure to completely air dry the tanks inside and out before storing.

So as I sat here realizing my carpets were in disarray and needing some extreme care I decided to do some research! I am not only a fur baby mom to 5 animals four dogs and a cat I am also a mom to a little girl whom "tries" to clean up messes on her own and we all can imagine how this could go, it went that bad. That was until I stumbled upon this product and bought it! It is everything I could have ever wanted in a product for my cleaning needs, not only did it get what our vacuum couldn't, it made my carpets even whiter than when we had moved in! I absolutely recommend to everyone. You may think you had a clean smelling home precious but when you realize that this machine eliminates even the fur debris that has traveled deep down to the roots of the carpet the smell of clean is taken to a whole new level! Thank you for creating such a fantastic product. I'm a forever fan! :)

I recently wrote a review as my machine quit working after only being used a handfull of times in only a few months. I have an elderly dog, so the need to use this machine has been on the increase. I was shocked, and VERY happy that a representative reached out to me and asked for my address in order to replace my non working machine. No hoops to jump through, they just sent me a new one. Problem solved and so easily. Thank you Hoover!

UPDATED REVIEW

It is not pretty and very small and the cord is very short. Be ok with constant stopping to dump water and this is for you. I wasn't sure what I was getting but I needed one fast. After using it. It took a couple hours to start drying completely. I have two xs dogs and a brand new carpet they are pooping and peeing on every chance they get. Leaving it smelly and crisp to the touch. I also had some kids dried on play dough I left it on top of the dough for two seconds and it removed the chunk I couldn't get off on my own. The little bottle it came with left the carpet smelling amazing. Alot of debris was picked up and left behind. From months ago. It is now my favorite thing to look forward to when cleaning.

I live in a small apartment, have no pets, and have only 2large area rugs to clean. My 30 year old Electrolux shampooer just died. Now at 73 l need something smaller. This PowerDash is perfect. Compact, lightweight, powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three small dogs that shed constantly. Before I got the Hoover, I would have to swiffer the floor, wet, mop, the floor, then vacuum the floor. When that was all done, I would use the old heavy cumbersome Hoover floor cleaner. Now I just, use my new Hoover floor cleaner. It saves me a lot of time.

I would recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a tiny house. This cleaner is great for my space. It does a thorough job of cleaning, and yes I have pets in my home. The only reason I didn't give this cleaner 5 stars is because it is difficult to clean after use. I mean, come on, you have to take the thing apart to clean, which isn't that hard, but reassembling the thing took almost as long as cleaning the floors. I am not nearly as strong as I once was and trying to pull the belt back into place to return the scrub brush into place was ridiculous. There has to be an easier way to do this. I have had enough carpet cleaners to know that if you don't clean them after each use that they soon do not work, so not cleaning is not an option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my older pup who has bathroom issues. I followed all cleaning/care instructions and it did a great job. I used it 1-2 times a month. However, the motor burnt out after about 6 months and I had to replace it with another . Bummer that it didn't last longer but it worked well for a short time.

Great when it works- didn't last

i bought this oct 19th,  the bearings were going out because it was extremely loud, the bearings finally blew, and it started smoking, I've had it for 2months, um going to buy another one, today, i hope this one is better, I'm a disabled veteran living in a hotel, i use it because my service dog has accidents now ole thunder is getting old, I've always said when goes i go I've been here long enough especially in this dump of a world. i hope your cleaner works better.

wish i could drive

THIS THING IS LOUD. I can only use it in short increments. I'm scared my neighbors are going to cause me to receive a noise complaint. If you have neighbors close by or are in an apartment...look elsewhere. I don't get why it has to be SO LOUD. I'm not kidding when I say this sounds like you are sawing wood with a VERY VERY dull blade mixed with a jet engine. I should have looked elsewhere when purchasing.
