Too bad the battery doesn't last more than a day, otherwise nothing to complain about

extra for the price

the only problem i'm having is the wireless adapter connection keeps failing after waking up the tablet. this is solved by turning the wireless off and then turning it on. small inconvenience. the sound sucks, but was expecting that. otherwise it's great to have windows functionality for such a small price. compared to android and apple mobile operating systems windows leaves a lot to be desired. things are smaller and harder to hit with your fingers. windows apps are weak compared to android and apple counterparts. nevertheless, i'm keeping this thing.

okay for price

At start I liked the tablet. The design, weight and touch and specially the price were all right. Till I got to the point that after a few days, the tablet was off every time I tried to work with so I had to keep it on the charger. As last try(test), I charged it fully and left it on the battery over the night and in the morning the battery was dead which made me to return the tablet.

Very short battery life

Thinner than expected given the price point. Understandable gaps between the back cover and rest of the case given the price point. Would be good for an actual windows tablet, e.g. windows store apps and the like. No good for running full windows 8.1. Things freeze and it gets insanely hot! We're talking hw monitor telling me 171 degrees f! Given the size I can understand a little warmer than usual but this is unacceptable.
Other than that got reasonable battery life. Getting the back cover off and inserting a micro sd card was tricky and that would probably be one of the first things to break. I ended up returning this, but depending on your needs this may work out for you.

Spend a hundred more

I was very upset with the operating system very hard to use windows should stick with computers they don't know what they are doing my family has 4 android and 1 apple ipad very easy to use. I would not buy another tablet with windows returned it

terribly hard to use for the whole family

I bought the first one of these about 6 months ago. It would not charge and after trying various things I contacted HP help and they send me another one. Same problem. Too bad as I really liked the Windows 8.1 and the tablet itself has many great points especially the display. For a $119 tablet it would be well worth the money if you are lucky enough to get one that actually will charge. (There are lots of similar complaints as well as poor audio which I never had a chance to try.) I am only recommending this with the assumption that it will actually work or the person buying it has the time to keep going back to the HP help folks until they get one that does.

Great tablet but there are power supply issues
