How do I assemble the shelves with round legs? To assemble your OSKAR plastic shelves, simply align the legs with the designated holes at the base of the shelf. The legs are press fit type. The holes in shelves may look square but does fit round leg. Elaborate instructions are provided in the manual provided in the package (one side has Square Legs assembly instruction and the back side of the same manual has instructions to fit Round Legs). 2. Do I need any tools to assemble the plastic shelves with press-fit round legs? No, you don’t need any tools for assembly. The press-fit round legs are designed to fit into the shelf's base by simply pressing them. You may use a rubber mallet or one of the legs, if necessary, to insert the leg into the hole in the shelf. 3. Are the press-fit round legs sturdy enough to support heavy items? Assembled in minutes, plastic tubes for the shelf spacers lock in easily, and voila shelves were assembled and very sturdy. It's nice that the bottom shelf sits on the floor..NO spider hidey holes under there!

Great shelf for the price, The posts fit very tight into the shelves and I found that a few drops of mineral oil rubbed on of the end of the pipes made it go together 10 times easier, put four of them together in 30 minutes with just my hands and a little brut force, a rubber mallet might be a good alternative to that

There is two kind of assembly, you need to check both side of the instructions.  I got the round one and it's was quite tough to assemble. I  use a hammer. However, I believe it will keep it tight and sturdy. Overall, I'm happy with it. It's the right size for our garden shed 6x8.

It's best to assemble this shelf where it will be used.  I wanted it in a closet %26 instead of moving everything out to insert this shelving unit, I found it easier to put it in the closet and assemble it there.  It's nice quality and sturdy.  Just the right size to fit into this closet,  A lot less expensive than having shelves custom made.

it was essy to assmble, no tools needed. As i was putting it togerther , snapped together with no exhustion or confusion.   Should of got the 5 for about $170.00. Ill save that for another day.  The shelves seem very sturdy. Dont forget to fasten it to wall ,since its not very heavy and if things are all towards the front, it may fall over.  Pick up a few fasteners to take care of it.

This shelving unit is sturdy and the shelves don't sag with a lot of stuff on them.

I'd suggest using a mallet to put the supports into their sockets. I did the first two support tubes whacking them with my hands, which was painful. I switched to a rubber mallet, and the whole assembly time was less than ten minutes.

The shelving does the job, helps to organize the garage... but the shelves bend and warp.  If it says it holds 400 pounds, I would assume that means the 4 shelves should be able to hold 100 pounds each and they bend with less than that.  Although they are bent and don't look the greatest, they are doing the job.

Still worth it.

Easy to put together, but they don't stay together. Over time, the shelves start to lean and you have to take everything off and re-hammer in the posts to each shelf.

These are very hard to assemble. You better be pretty strong to insert the pillars into the corner holes. Use a rubber mallet. And the plastic smells strong after 4 days. Hopefully the smell goes away. Pretty sturdy if you can get it assembled though.

The poles are too big for the holes. This should have taken about 2 mins to put together. You need about 300lbs of body weight to get them in and they don't stay. The last shelf is just sitting there not even attached. The factory just put random pieces in a box and said oh these might work. Well they don't. The shelves are super flimsy so you can't really even put much weight on them to get them attached. So stressful.
