You can also use the mount as a stand, should you not want to use it on your car's dash or front panel. You can adjust and twist the mount to fit your needs. One star off because you need to stick it to your car so it will stay intact. I'm leasing and am giving the car up in a few months so I will not adhere my mount until I have a new car.

All my available surfaces are curved or angled and this would seem to work best on a completely flat, level surface. It says it is MagSafe compatible but I didn't realize that meant it would ONLY work with MagSafe cases. I have a case with a loop which requires magnetic workarounds, and it didn't work for me. I gave it to my husband and he installed it in his vehicle. Installation was a breeze and the magnet is strong and works well with his regular MagSafe cases
