I really like the concept. It does take a few hours to fully clean as it goes pretty slow. I don't mind that feature because it does go forward and backward to ensure a good clean. Also, it does take a few times cleaning to get the map created but now it is great. The first and second clean left streaks but then I used a different cleaner and no problems.

Love this mop, easy to use, the mop has a long battery life and cleans well without getting on my rugs.  The cost was not bad and I use it regularly.   Definitely recommend this product.  The only problem I have is once the mop pad is saturated it leaves streaks.

Easy Mopping

This device has changed my life! While I fold clothes, my new best friend is mopping my floors. Amazing! The app is super user friendly. It tells you when it gets stuck or needs something. It automatically goes back to its charging station when it needs to charge. I did not expect it to clean stuck on things so I spot clean those before I use the app to turn it on. This is by far the most amazing purchase I have ever made. I love this thing more than my car! The brava goes all around my house and does all the work for me!! throwing away my swiffer! I combined it with the irobot roomba i3 so I set the roomba to vacuum and brava to mop every other day! now I'm not freaking out when the kids are laying on the floor-no more dog hair!

LIFE CHANGING!

I keep waiting for iRobot to issue an updated model of this mop, but seeing that most of their vacuums are now double purpose (vacuum mop) I imagine there probably won't be another single purpose device released by iRobot.

This mop is simple to use, the iRobot app makes it quick to plot out where to clean, how often, how aggressively, and for how long.  This is even easier if you have a programed vacuum  by iRobot on the same account, as the mop will incorporate the map of your home.

Although there are two different pads that can be used (dry mop versus wet mop), I only use the wet mop, as the vacuum I have from iRobot has a "mop after cleaning feature" thus there is no reason imo to dry mop.

A few downfalls to this device:

The sprayer becomes less and less effective and requires time to accurately/build up a substantial amount of cleaner to be sprayed out in front of the mop - I found pre-spraying the ground in front of the mop helps with this issue, and eventually the sprayer will begin to prime/function.  

It's lower to the ground/surface, and will become stuck easier than the vacuum.  

It requires placing the plate attachment that comes along with the charge station, versus without - this prevents docking issues (unable to connect to charging plates/lining up on the charging plates) this also helps prevent from the surrounding floor from having the wet mop pad from leaching on to the floor in front of the charge station.

Overall this mop is acceptable, and far easier to use than me having to get up and doing it manually.

Does what is says, says what it does

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this product! When I received the iRobot free to test for review purposes, I was so excited! I am a wife and mom to four young kids trying as hard as I can to run my crazy busy household, and this product helped me out immensely. By the time I get my kids to bed at night and finish what needs to be done for the next day, I'm too exhausted to actually spend time cleaning my house. With the iRobot I was able to leave it running while I got other things done, so that was a HUGE help for me. It wasn't too noisy, so I didn't have a problem with letting it run while my kids were asleep, so that was a big bonus as well. The speed was a bit slow, so obviously, moping yourself would get the job done faster, but then again, I didn't have to do it myself, so there's really not that much to complain about that. It did what it is advertised to do, and I loved it. It left my floors clean and shiny! It did miss a couple of spots here and there and it cleaned, but not big spots that I couldn't just go over myself after, so that wasn't such a big deal. I am very happy with the results I got and highly recommend this product! It is perfect for anyone who has a busy house hold. It's a great time saver and fun to watch. I am looking forward to continuing to use my iRobot. Thank you for this opportunity BzzAgent! I never would have known about this product if it wasn't for your guys!

Braava keeps up well with my two large dogs and cat, however note I run a roomba vaccum daily prior to a dry sweep or mop cycle. Roomba picks up quite a lof hair and dirt, which the Braava might just push around otherwise. Recommend pairing them together, though my vaccum is an older, cheaper model.

The app is fantastic and the mapping technology is very accurate. Braava is very delicate and has amazing technology to navigate around objects and really optimizes how much surface it can clean. It doesn't just drive away when it hits something. It figures out if there is another way around the object.

Only complaint so far is that the tank sensor will occasionally indicate the tank is empty when it's full. Removing and reinserting the tank fixes it, but it can be obnoxious if it's set on a schedule and I realize hours later it never started it's cycle.

Pet Owner Approved!

Quality and cleaning are decent, but the mapping technology is lacking.

I have used to use for five or six years. I had two of them. I was very happy with the last about 2 1/2 to 3 years before the chip goes bad. When my last two have been horrible. They have not worked from the very beginning. Robot number three was sent back twice. The replacement product they sent me still does not work. I know how to use the app. I know how to use the robot. I've been doing it for over six years. I don't know what quality control but it's really horrible. The app also is not working with the robot. It's like the chip is faulty. It tells you to put on a mopping pad when the pad is already on there. You can change the pad and it may or may not work. It does not even work when you press the manual button on the robot to clean.

Power cord will not connect.  Ordered a new one and that won't connect either.  So have been unable to use the device

Robot does not mop at all right out of the box. Seller will not respond at all!!!
Do not buy unless you like to throw your money away and endure hours of absolute aggravation! And yes we did any and all of the trouble shooting and watched every video available. Apparently this is a very common and frequent problem. Even iRobot will not respond.
