I will never make whipped cream any other way. I control the taste, sweetness and even colors and flavors if I care to add them.  With that said, a few caveats.  First, it's best to prepare the whipped cream a day in advance.  I always shake it and put it in the fridge.  Second, ALWAYS invert the cannister completely when dispensing.  I always get dense, sweet and delicious whipped cream this way and it lasts for days.  Finally, be careful to get the gas cartridge fully engaged ASAP so you don't allow any of the gas to escape instead of being added to the cannister.  Works flawlessly every time.  I have two of them now.
