Ratings & Reviews+

Imagine Organic Creamy Tomato is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great-hope WM will stock Creamy Garden Tomato too This soup is wonderful! It's just like homemade, straight out of the box...but it's even better if you add chunks of your own veggies (carrots, cauliflower, celery, onion, whatever you like in your tomato soup base). You can leave it as is, or puree, for a wonderful homemade soup in less than a quarter of the time it would take you to make it from scratch. The tomato soup is so thick that it makes a great dish on its own and it's a great starter for a homemade tomato vegetable soup (because of the thickness, it's a lot better to use this soup than to go with a can of ground /diced or whole tomatoes, or even fresh tomatoes. I've made this soup both by reheating straight out of the box and by adding veggies, at times pureeing after adding in some extra veg. Either way, it's great...just like homemade!!! Imagine Organics makes a mean boxed soup - it's hard to go wrong with their selections. I hope WM will stock Imagine Organics Creamy Garden Tomato Soup -it's the low-sodium counterpart to this soup. It is absolutely fantastic...possibly even better than this soup! Creamy Potato Leek is another winner. The Creamy Tomato Basil soup is also great - they use soy milk, making it a wonderful vegetarian option - it's a cream soup but you'd never know it's vegetarian (it's truly that good). Imagine Organics soups are truly excellent. Congrats to WM for carrying these soups (with the exception of the Creamy Garden Tomato, which I WISH you would stock!! That's one of the very few reasons I have to go elsewhere to find what I need..other than that, I do the bulk of my shopping at Walmart - you're head and shoulders above the other grocery stores in terms of availability. WM also had a MAJOR price advantage but it's getting wiped out with the price escalations on this soup and on a few other items. As an example, WM used to sell these Imagine Organics soups for $2.47 which made buying from WM a no-brainer. However, now that WM's price has risen to $'s a pretty big jump and it unfortunately makes WM less competitive. Regardless, WM's selection and on-line availability of foods and other household goods puts this store head and shoulders above the rest. The rest of the stores in Canada seem behind the times, refusing to offer any online shopping or in some cases, very limited options for online purchase...WM is WAY ahead of the pack.
