I  have IT suitcases  in 3 sizes.  This 30" is a replacement for my old one which lasted a long time. The suitcase comes with a 10 year warranty which I forgot about, but feel I got my money's worth with 7 years of hard  use. I absolutely LOVE the light weight.  The fabric is durable; my last one was pink but I don't recommend light colors for airport travel--bags get filthy.  This newer model has a great handle and spinner wheels, really easy to move it. It's a great suitcase!

A Great  Suitcase

This is simply one of the nicest pieces of luggage I've had the pleasure of shopping for or using. Don't let the price fool you; this luggage is very high quality, and exceptionally light given how sturdy it is. The handles are padded perfectly to really be comfortable using them, and not painful when the bag is fully loaded. The wheels work great and roll smoothly, and the extra handle on the bottom makes repositioning the bag super easy. I would honestly buy this bag over other brands costing 4-6 times as much -- the quality and weight are simply that good.

Best Luggage I've ever used

I originally bought the carry-on size for a two and a half week trip to Europe. I wanted something that was very lightweight as I would be lugging it from place to place. it held everything I needed and held up remarkably well. no scuffs or scratches. I got it in Black which was the only color available at the time, but with that stripe down the middle it was still pretty easy to pick out. 
Now, 9 months later I'm going to Europe again, and wanted a checked bag as well so it's a no-brainer to get the 26 in. The price also can't be beat for the quality that you're getting!

Best suitcase

This is the third GT lite ultralite suitcase I've purchased. We use the 22” as carryon and its so easy to maneuver. Our luggage has held up through several trips to Europe and you appreciate how light it is when you have to lug it all over town. This 4 lb model is getting harder to find. I hope they don't stop making it!

4 lbs and durable

I really like the light weight of this case. It weighs slightly over 4lbs. The only issue I had was it was missing a zipper pull on the inside lining zipper. I filled out the warranty info which is very tedious and the reply was  that I should return it to where I purchased it. I sent back a reply and they have just ignored me. I would not count on this company ever honoring their warranty.

It was a little heavier than the stated weight (4.04 pounds) in the ad. But it's still the lightest carry on luggage of it's size I could find. I bought it for its weight, mainly, as it's hard to stow heavy luggage in the overhead bin. My older IT one was 3.4 pounds. I can't find anything similar to that now.

A little heavier than claimed

I found the Luggage to be more of a pink than a red. the wheels are concerning but have not failed. just not as well made as others have been. the handle is sound but but sometimes I had to fiddle with the button to make it work. i would reccomend and buy again.

I packed 3 weeks worth of stuff for a 2 week trip to Mexico and it still weighed only 40 pounds! I'm very pleased with it except for 3 things: there is no handle at the bottom (which makes it awkward to pick up when it's laying flat) and half of the inside of the top flap is mesh and the other is ruched Velcro plastic fabric, so I have to rummage around trying to remember what I put where instead of just opening it and seeing what I packed right away. I also don't care for the front outside compartment being one big unit instead of 2 smaller ones. Everything slides down to the bottom and I end up rummaging around for what I need.

Very lightweight, but a 7 out of 10

This is super lightweight, which means you can carry more items in your bag. However, to keep it lightweight, they cut back on some things that make a bag easier to handle and more secure. For example, there is no bottom handle. It's really hard to throw a loaded 30” bag onto a TSA conveyor belt if you don't have a bottom handle for leverage. Also, the sides are just one layer of thin ripstop nylon. If this gets caught on anything sharp, it could easily tear open.  The ultra-lightness is fantastic, but I'm nervous to ever use this again for a flight. I will probably have to compromise and buy a heavier bag that has thicker material and a bottom handle.

Truly lightweight - maybe TOO lightweight

This suitcase was certainly lightweight but the quality was terrible. The zipper completely broke (the zipper pulls fell off in transit) on its very first trip. Since the suitcase was no longer usable I had to discard it upon arrival in Japan and buy another suitcase.
