I bought Amazing Base Loose Powder in Golden Glow. This is really amazing...it does not crease or look visible on my older skin, yet evens out redness and gives coverage while looking natural! In the late 80s through late 90s I was a National Makeup Artist and trainer for a high end top international French cosmetic company. I can tell you nothing compares to Jane Iredale Makeup. I would recommend this for any age group.

I've been using this product for around 7 years now. It's been so good for my skin. I've tried so many other expensive products and all they did was irritate my skin and cause break outs. I love that Jane iredale uses high quality minerals (boron nitride) vs. (Bismuthoxychloride) also a mineral but irritating to the skin. I love it's ability to go on light or later for full coverage. Amazing product!  As a Skincare professional if I could afford to carry this line in my spa I totally would!!  Maybe one day.

I love the loose power

I never wore face make-up because I hated the way it felt on my skin until my friend recommended Jane Iredale. This powder is perfect for me because it evens out my skin tone but doesn't feel like I'm even wearing make-up. 

Keep in mind that it's a fairly light powder, so I wouldn't use it for significant coverage. I (fortunately) don't have acne or any other significant discoloration I need to cover.

The only face make-up I'll use

This is my 2nd year using Jane Iredale makeup. I have fallen in love with Amazing Base. I am 50 years old, and was having trouble with other powders drying me out, and gathering in fine lines and wrinkles. This lovely, Amazing Base, gives me coverage with a gentle glow, and never gathers in fine lines. My skin always feels and looks fresh, all day long!  I get so many compliments!  I feel pretty! Glowing skin at 50!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very dry skin almost year round and need good coverage.  I tried samples of the Amazing Base Loose Powder and was very surprised that it gave my skin a soft dewy glow, and it looks and feels healthy.  I now use it daily, even around my eyes with and without Liquid Minerals and always with a hydration spray. I think I will be using it in the summer too, just a different shade. Trying samples and experimenting with different techniques as shown on the JI website is well worth it !

Great for Dry Skin !

I'm 71 and have never worn any type of foundation. I've recently noticed discoloration here and there and wanted a light cover along with an SPF. The Loose Mineral Powder fills the bill. It can be applied very lightly or built up for a more sophisticated look, and it lasts all day. My skin is normal; there is no drying out, either. I travel with the pressed powder in the same shade. I love it.

Natural and Light

I've tried this before a few yrs ago, and here I am back for what works best for me.  I get the right amount of coverage without being heavy or "settling in creases" like others I have tried. Heading into my late 50's I needed a foundation that would polish the good characteristics of my skin, and not just cover up the flaws. Amazing Base does just that....

Amazing Base ...A Winner

Glides on smoothly, no 'cakey' look and much easier to apply than a liquid foundation. It is surprisingly dewy looking for a powder, and the color is amazing.  In the past week, two people have commented on my 'lovely complexion' - this powder truly makes my skin look like a smooth canvas!

A 'must have' product

I find it difficult to understand why it took me so long to find these amazing make up products.  I am 74 years old, discovered Jane Iredale about a year and a half ago and have not use anything else since. It's clean and fresh, true to color and lasts all day.  Removes easily at night.  No more itchy skin, no blotches, no fading of colors.  I am 74 years old.  It's about time.  Thanks so much.

20 years younger.

I have been using this product for  8 years. I originally found it in a Skin Care Salon in Prescott Az.and moved out of the area. Worried,  I found you on line. Hallelujah. I am 60 and have sun spots and small veins in my cheeks and chin. It gives just the right amount of coverage. I love the Suntan color all year long for a California glow. It only wears off my chin area after eating using a napkin and need to reapply. Thank you Jane.

Amazing Base-Suntan

This is not my favorite Jane Iredale product.  I tried it because the quiz on the website recommended it.  It looks okay when first applied, but the powder makes my fine lines stand out after a few hours. It is probably a good product for a younger woman.
