Glides on smoothly, no 'cakey' look and much easier to apply than a liquid foundation. It is surprisingly dewy looking for a powder, and the color is amazing.  In the past week, two people have commented on my 'lovely complexion' - this powder truly makes my skin look like a smooth canvas!

Great foundation! I love the how smooth this foundation goes on and it is possible to layer it to get more coverage if you desire. I have been using this product for about 2 years, and one jar of this foundation lasts me a full year! I have a lot of pink undertones in my skin and this is one of the foundations that Jane makes that really matches my skin tone.

Great Foundation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the lightweight, good coverage this provides. It feels and looks like I'm not wearing anything yet it completely evens out my skin tone. The shade matches my skin perfectly, which is a rare find for me. I also have extremely sensitive skin, and this product causes no issues or breakouts. Love it.

Good coverage, feels like I'm not wearing makeup

I have been a huge fan of JI products for years.  I often switch shades depending on the season.  During my last purchase, I apparently chose the wrong one.  I reached out to customer service to initiate an exchange and boy oh boy was I impressed!  Not only was she helpful in the exchange process, she was able to help me find a better match of shade.  She answered all my questions promptly.  Sure enough, when the new placement arrived, it was a better match.  Thank you Jane Iredale for a great product.  And thank you staff for your flawless customer service!

Perfect Match

This is, by far, the best foundation for my hypersensitive skin!  I have Rosacea and uneven skin tone.  I can layer this on for great coverage and my skin still feels like it can breathe which is amazing to me.  I have been using this daily for 3 years now and I can't live without this foundation!

Amazing!

I have Jane Iredale loose mineral powder makeup for over 15 years. I use a makeup brush to put it on and it gives a flawless finish making your pores look smaller. I then set it with a fine mist of water and it gives a glowing  to my skin.  I have broken blood vessels on and around my nose as well as my cheekbones (bummer), and it covers them. I have my husband using this mineral powder because it evens out his skin tone.  I have tried samples of a few other brands and for me they don't compare to Jane Iredale. This is the very best.

My Favorite Makeup

This is the finest powder I've ever used yet provides excellent coverage.  I am 70 years old with some wrinkles in my forehead amd around my mouth. This is the only product I've used that doesn't settle into them.  I am so glad I found Jane Iredale products.  Everything I've tried is excellent: mascara, mascara primer, eye shadows, blush, eye liner, brow pencil, eyelid primer, face primer, and lipstick.

Really like this! I was looking to try an alternative to bare minerals because i suspected it was drying out my skin. I reached out to JI customer service and they were nice enough to recommend a color match and send me some samples. This is not quite as full coverage as BM (i use an IT Cosmetics buffing brush to apply) but just enough coverage that looks way more natural. I have dry skin and this does NOT cling to my dry patches like bare minerals does. Im in between colors and found that once i set it with a mist it seems to blend into my natural skintone even though its not a perfect match. I use a bit of argan or rosehip oil underneath and it makes for an easier more smooth application. Definitely worth trying!

More natural than Bare Minerals

I absolutely love this mineral powder.  A little goes a very long way and the buildable coverage is so perfect.  I feel good about wearing this make-up because I know it doesn't have shoddy ingredients in it that can cause all sorts of other problems with my health.

Amazing Base is AHH-Mazing!

I have used the pressed powder in the past and loved it, but decided to give the loose a try. It goes on smoothly, and I find a fluffy brush works best. But...i also need to reevaluate my color because Latte (which had always been my color!) now goes on too dark. But, that's not anything wrong with the product!

So natural looking!

I have used this color before, so it matched fine, but I usually get the pressed powder. The coverage with the loose powder feels cakey to me. I also feel that a lot of product gets wasted. There is a lot of product in the air after I swirl my brush in the lid and it ends up all over my counter. I try to minimize agitation to prevent the extra powder in the air and on the counter, but it is definitely messier than the pressed powder. I much prefer the pressed powder over the loose powder.
