I have been looking for a new eye shadow color to add to my already existing routine. I don't always love the eye shadow trio as at least one color usually isn't a great color match for my skin. So the single color option is great and this shade is beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only downside is I wish they made this color, Supernova and Oyster in a two shade combo. Or even a 3 shade combo with another slightly darker than supernova shade that is also shimmery. There is nothing currently that is provided with these two shades in a shimmer that is a 3 shade combo.

Love the eyeshadows

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Jane Iredale for almost 20 years and I would not change. The color is perfect for my skin such that you can't tell I have on makeup. I like that the products are natural based which is a reason I stay. It's quality makeup that lasts.

Shimmer Bronze refill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing French vanilla for a few years and love it. I wear it just about every day and it brightens my eyes in a natural way. I understand you're discontinuing that color but you usually have other options that are close. Jane's shadows wear well and last a long time. I know I can use them safely, even if my eyes are irritated. Most people don't realize I'm wearing makeup. I love it!

Safe color that lasts

The pressed power eye shadow is great. However, I have used a makeup brush for many years and it does not work well with this product, it sort of smears it. Long ago, I used a little sponge applicator that I no longer have, but I tried a q-tip and that worked. I think if a sponge applicator is necessary is should come with the product. Or at the very least, tell me I need one before I receive it.

The pressed power eye shadow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid product. I appreciate that the "shimmer" effect is subtle and doesn't make me look like a disco ball. It also doesn't irritate my typically extremely sensitive eyelids. I'm usually not able to tolerate shimmery eye shadow, but I've been using this consistently for about a month with no ill effects. I docked it a star due to lack of pigment saturation and fallout. . . not a deal breaker, but not optimal. I will probably re-purchase, and would like to see greater variety in single shadows.

Supernova Shadow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful packaging and love that what I get from Jane Iredale is healthy for my skin. Travelled immediately after receiving product and have used it on my eyes yet but color seems as described and coverage with a good eyeshadow primer should be good as normal. I do require a primer with my Jane powder shadows or I have issues with some creasing at end of day.

Thank you for makeup that is healthy for our skin

I was so looking forward to my new eyeshadows! However, once I applied them, it seemed like they were melting into my lids. I thought maybe it was my concealer, so I applied them another day, but this time without my eyelid concealer, and sadly, they behaved in the same way. They melted into my eye creases and looked awful after a few hours of wear. I am not sure if the formulation has changed or what would have caused such poor performance. I am really sad because this is my favorite brand of makeup, I even got my teenager to start on it, instead of using the drug store/dept store brands.

Quality is questionable

I ordered this color based on the Jane Iredale recommendation for color match, however, the color I received is not even remotely close to the color Dawn that was discontinued. I have since purchased an Almay product that more closely matches, and at one third the cost of Jane Iredale. I will no longer be purchasing Jane Iredale until they bring back my go to color.
