Rated 5 out of 5 by from very good for beginners. it's a great dvd for just starting out. very simple to follow along. there is no background workout music...just jillian and 1 additional person doing the workout. dvd has 6 circuits for each, front-side and back-side; very effective moves that have showed results with just using for 5days a week for 2 weeks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for beginners As someone who is infamously poorly coordinated/clumsy I recommend this video for two reasons 1) it features calisthenic-type exercises (jumping jacks, squats etc) so you don't spend half the time trying to figure out some weird dance routine instead of actually getting exercise and 2) Jillian isn't actually doing the exercises herself - someone else does them while she explains what the moves are designed to accomplish and points out how to do them properly - I think this reduces the chances of doing exercises improperly. Note that as labeled this video is for beginners; if you have much experience doing calisthenic-type exercises I think this would not be very challenging (although for many moves she does explain how they could be made more challenging as you progress from beginner).
