this item does exactly what it's supposed to. my child is able to draw and use as a snack table during longer road trips. Yes it's softer tray, but anything harder would be unsafe for a car seat. I'm not willing to risk my child's life for a stronger tray.

Does the job well

I purchased this item for my toddler as we were spending a lot of time driving to the cottage. It was great for small snacks and activities to keep him entertained on the road. Definitely would recommend!

Works just as described!

The price was right, the functionality was not.  It's completely floppy, so putting anything other than light toys on it makes it buckle.  Forget about using it for food or drawing.  The pockets on the sides are nice but the strap going around the back of the seat  makes taking it on and off very clumsy.  I'm fairly handy so I replaced the strap with two short bungees that clip onto the seat and sewed a piece of cardboard on the bottom to stabilize it but you'd be better off buying something like those laptop pillows that have the hard top.

Looks like the photo, but performance has issues

Picked these up for our kids before we went on a family road trip. Was hoping they could play cars, colour and have snacks off of them. Turns out the flat tray part is actually super flimsy and can't hold the weight of anything. There is absolutely no support in the tray and basically just collapses on itself. They spent the entire duration of our drive on the floor. What a waste of money!!!
