I bought this for my husband as a present, and he loves it. He drinks coffee several times a day, and it is fast to make a single cup. You can choose small, medium and large cup, but to me, i think large cup is like medium. So if you like bigger cup, you should buy bigger brewing.

Keurig Elite K40 Brewing System

I bought this as a quickie for my husband's coffee before he leaves for work at 1 a.m. Also for me for my first cup of the day when he is at work. Well, we packed up our 12 cup coffee maker, bought some pods and some refillable pods and are using the Kuerig full time. So quick and easy, love it.

I Love My Kuerig

I love it. I resisted so long, but finally purchased. So glad I did. It's so simple and makes coffee easy. I never liked the mess of a standard coffee maker, and all the unused coffee et al.

I purchased the older model because the new 2.0 does not recognize the various other brands available for sale.

Love my new Keurig.

My husband and I love our Keurig. We use it every day! He likes coffee and I like tea so it is perfect we can each make our own single cup without the hassle of making full pots of each. It is so easy to use, it cleans easy. It makes the perfect cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate every time! It was well worth the money.

Love my Keurig!!!! We bought the small one, at Walmart, a few years ago....but when this one came on sale, and a good sale..Thank you Walmart, we jumped at it and we Love just pushing the button and being able to select the size of mug...

great coffee maker

I have been using this machine for few weeks now and so far I am pleased with it. I used to own a Tassimo machine that brewed two cup sizes. This machine has 3 options for cup size.
It does take about a minute to heat up the water when you turn it on first time, but that's just the initial heating--the rest of the brewing time is quick.
I like how this Keurig machine is not as sensitive as the Tassimo I used to own. I had to be careful how I insert the t-disc into the machine or else it won`t recognize, etc. But this Keurig is more user-friendly in my opinion.
I also like I can use used k-cup again after using it once. My travel mug is quite big and one brew even at largest cup size isn't enough. So I always pick medium brew first and then using the same k-cup (just open and close again) and pick the smallest cup size for second brew. Sure, it may be watered down a little bit, but it doesn't make too much difference to me at all. Tassimo couldn't do that.
Overall I would recommend this product. Tassimo does have better cappuccino products (foams, etc) and while I understand Keurig now has those machines too, I am not too big of a lattes and cappuccino drinker, so I would pick Keurig over Tassimo if I had to pick one.

Useful machine if you use it

The pod machines are so handy and this one is a good one. But all results depend on the coffee purchased in the pods. There are several brands that simply are better and you have to try a few to find them. However, this coffee maker allows you to choose strength of coffee by size of cup so you have some opportunity to make it according to your taste. I am not sure it is best, however, to leave the water in the plastic container for a long time so I change it every morning, although some of it seems to remain in the base.

Good morning coffee

I bought this a month ago and for the most part I love it. The fog horn sound at the beginning when the coffee starts brewing makes me laugh every morning. Twice I have had coffee residue in my cup so I think it's not a good idea to use coffee pods (k-cup coffee without the plastic). They might cost less than regular k-cup coffee but this coffee maker doesn't like them.

Fast

This model is easy to use and makes a fresh cup of quality coffee very quickly.

It can be expensive when buying k-cups(although it will still save you time and money by skipping the coffee shops in the morning). I purchased a set of reusable k-cups to use with my coffee of choice and the machine has literally paid for itself in money saved over the last month.

I bought this a month ago because my other one broke. Th new one seems to need filling quicker and it makes a bit of noise when making coffee, my old one didn't
