Keurig My K-Cup Classic Reuseable Coffee Filter is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 1311.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great when used as directed! I have been using the My K-Cup product for around a month with my new Elite 40 Brewer, and it makes a great cup of suitably strong coffee every time with no leaking water and no grounds in my cup. I suspect that all the negative reviews griping about leaks, grounds in the cup, and weak coffee are not using the product correctly. The black plastic K-Cup holder inside the brewer MUST be removed FIRST before inserting the My K-Cup assembly into the unit. If a user cannot properly shut the lid with this product inside, it's clear they've not removed the K-Cup holder as instructed. If the instructions are followed correctly and the coffee is still not coming out right, perhaps the coffee being used is ground too coarse or too fine for the mesh of the filter basket. Experiment and adjust accordingly. The only con I have with the My K-Cup product is that it can be difficult to clean the grounds out of the filter basket after each use, but that is probably because I choose to discard the grounds in the trash rather than just rinse them all down the drain. I'm confident I will come up with a way to better empty out the basket, perhaps with some sort of gentle cleaning brush or a soft-bristled toothbrush. The trick will be to do so without damaging the delicate mesh. I have found that allowing the filter basket to air dry for a little while (outside of its gray assembly) before emptying the grounds helps them to fall out more readily than if the grounds are still wet and stuck together. Common sense. Overall, I love being able to brew the coffee of my own choice, and more affordably. I will still use regular K-Cup pods from time to time, but I love having the option to brew other non-podded coffees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLEASE READ How to Stop the LEAK!!! Please all that have the leak problem. I was not happy the first time I tried to use the plastic cup. It put waker all over the counter and coffee grinds got every where. After a 5min phone call to customer service and 30 sec of my time. IT IS FIXED and WORKS GREAT. How to fix: 1. Locate the needle on top be caerful it is sharp 2. Locate the rubber seal on the needle. 3. Slide the seal down until the needle tip is just exposed. 4. USE AND BE HAPPY 5. Tip Extra Course coffee grinds work best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Keurig M-K Cup Like many other people, I had water leaking everywhere when I first used My K-Cup. I thought there was something wrong with the My K-Cup assembly. I came on here, read some reviews and adjusted the rubber seal on the top needle as was suggested by some reviews. It worked perfectly after that (I just have to figure out how much coffee grinds to put in to make it strong enough for me). I hope Keurig will address this problem and make adjustments to make it easier in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy Fix Obviously this My K-cup does not work for all the Keurig machines that it says it does. I have the Mini Keurig (which I love), but I had the same leak problems as many of the other reviews and because of that the water is not going over the grounds so of course you are going to get a weak cup of coffee and my cup was only half full. I pulled the beveled gasket down a ways like alot of people suggested and that still did not help, so I pulled it right off and placed it on the cover of the My K-cup and it was too small (that is why it leaks) so I went to [@] and bought an o-ring to take up the slack. I brought the cover with me so I would know what size to fit it. It was 59 cents, got home, placed the o-ring inside the cover, pulled the gasket around the needle down a little ways and voila! It worked, no leaking and a good cup of coffee! The company is Danco Inc. Stk No 35729B 3/16X5/8x3/32 #12 o-ring. Try it, it was a 62 cent fix w/tax. I only gave this product 3 stars because it is something that Keurig needs to address and fix!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another Fix I also had the problem of a leaking adapter. I fit a rubber o-ring (about 1/8 inch in thickness) snugly up against the bottom of the rim of the adapter. This raised the adapter enough to form the necessary seal against the internal gasket. Works like a charm now and I have had to make no adjustments when switching between K-cups and the adapter. With so many people experiencing the same problem, perhaps Keurig should include an optional o-ring with each adapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE MY K CUP I like strong coffee and the store-bought K cups were too weak for me, and too expensive since I drink 2-3 cups each morning, so I buy Café Bustelo and use My K Cup - and I've had perfect coffee for the last two years without any issues. I don't understand why so many reviewers are having problems unless you are filling your basket too full.
