I purchased 2 of these for my 2 year olds room. I absolutely love them! Easy to understand instructions. I was able to put it together by myself (except putting the lid on). I love how the lid stays up by itself and will NOT slam shut. Very well made item.

Fairly easy assembly. Takes time more than brain, Only one tricky piece. Small screws, you prolly want to pick a time when the kids aren't home to set this up. 
Looks beautiful. Has like... Hydraulics under the lid-prevents slamming, and can hold the lid up to any height. Lightweight enough to move around when you need to.

Cheapest "real" toybox I could find for christmas.

I have the pink one it's so pretty and it has so much room. After I ordered it, it took just 2 days to be delivered , it wasn't damaged it at all, after I read the instructions the assembly was easy. It doesn't feel or look  cheap, the finish is excellent, it's a good price and the quality is amazing. Very happy with my purchase

Great purchase!!!

This is really easy to put together and works like a charm.  However some of the holes were not big enough for the screws that were provided.  So I had to make the holes bigger and then I was able to use the screws that were provided.  
But other than the small holes, it's a great piece and my son loves it!

For the money, this is a nice toy box. Some reviews mentioned quality issues but mine was perfect. Assembly was straight forward. I gave it 5 stars because it was as advertised, reasonably priced and didn't have any missing parts or shipping damage.

Very Satisfied

Bought 2 of these for our grandkids. They were easy to assemble and we were impressed that the lids were on a strut system so they would stay up and would not fall on them unless pulled down. Very well made!!!

Well made - A Must Buy

The word is nice and thick-not some flimsy plywood.  Nicely finished it doesn't just have to be for toys!  Mine holds throw blankets and pillows in our living room.

Sturdy

While I would not say the price is cheap for what you get, I would say it is reasonable. It is particle board but relatively sturdy. The build was also relatively easy. If you want something to pass down to another child once this one has outgrown it, I would suggest something else. This likely will not get past the first child without damage.

Having said that; it is easily worth it for me with two children who have issues with putting things away. It is sturdy enough and room enough to house a good deal of toys that would otherwise occupy the floor. Overall a thumbs up for my needs.

A good piece for today's cost

After completing it, it didn't fully close. Took it apart to try again. Still had the same issue. A piece was also chipped on the lid. Was a gift for my son's 1st bday. Didn't want to go through the Hassel of returning, plus don't have the time. It's a pretty toy chest but mine has defects :(
