Ratings & Reviews+

KISS - Unmasked (Remastered) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from KISS * Unmasked This KISS Lp is genuine with the official members of KISS. I notice Ace Frehley is lead vocals more than once here. He does a great job. When VH1 That Metal Show had Ace on as a guest. They asked him, "what is his favorite album?" He pointed to this one. Love the original line up. But, with anything we love that falls apart. I want my Mom and Dad to be my real Mom and Dad. lol.. And we let go of what served it's purpose. Nothing like the original members. Even if I loved them almost as much as my parents at one time. lol.. What matters most is their still making Albums! Tommy Thayer lead guitar as Ace Frehley. Eric Singer on drums as Peter Criss. Maybe, one day my dream will come true? As long as they keep rocking. My chances to see them in concert is greater. I love listening to albums. Unmasked is an album worth listening to. Good music at an affordable price. Albums are produced even less now days. Music can be produced on a laptop. Many recording studio's are gone because of the one hit wonder. I can purchase a song thats #1 on the billboard. That leaves less room for talent and hard work. Recording, Printing, Promoting, Touring because the album is worth all that. I do enjoy this Band. I like this album a lot...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst KISS album ever. Unmasked is the worst KISS album, even worse than Dynasty and The Elder. Unmasked has a collection of poorly written songs that are very forgettable. The only reason you'll remember any of these songs is because they are so lousy (sample Shandi.) Remastering the CD doesn't make the songs better than the original vinyl release. Purchase this CD only if you are looking to complete your KISS collection. While it will look good in your CD rack, you'll likely not listen to this CD twice.
