[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been in the market to purchase a new food processor for a while now, since my last one broke, so I was incredibly excited to receive this. It hasn’t disappointed at all! 

The capacity of this is pretty big, plenty large enough for anything I’ve wanted to make and it does a great job of processing even things like frozen fruit for smoothies. I love that it comes with the shred/grate plate, giving it even more flexibility in terms of what it can do. It processes most things very quickly and smoothly, and I love that it has a couple of different settings (including a pulse) to give you more control over the outcome. 

I was expecting this to be quite loud, but it’s honestly very quiet (for a food processor). I used to use a blender to make smoothie bowls in the morning for breakfast, and I always felt like it was incredibly loud and might wake up my roommates, but now I don’t have that worry! Obviously it does make some noise, it’s a machine, but it’s a lot quieter than my blender was and I feel like you can barely hear it outside of the kitchen when it’s running. 

There are quite a few pieces to this food processor that end up needing to be washed after it’s used, but to be honest that’s really going to be the case for any food processor. With this one I actually really like that it can come apart into multiple pieces because it makes it a lot easier to clean the entire thing and make sure it’s fully clean after being used. I didn’t expect the lid to be removable, but it makes cleaning the bowl of the processor SO much easier. 

This feels like a piece of equipment that will live in my kitchen for a long time, and I’m looking forward to all the smoothie bowls and hummus I can make in it!

Super user friendly and easy to use food processor

I’ve had manual food processors, and this kitchenaid one has made them all insignificant. It is a super easy to use, and efficient tool. The slicer and shredder tool that comes with it is also great. I’ve made batters with it, guacamole, pastes, and just general chopping and the processor has made quick work out of all of them. The 7 cup is also a great size for a small family. My favorite quality about it is how quiet it is. It does not drown out everything else while running. Cleaning and storage is also easy. Note, that while slicing or shredding some of food does tend to get stuck between the lid and the slicer, so the operation isn’t completely smooth. Also, I wish there were more accessories that came with it for different styles/sizes of slicing, chopping and shredding.

Quiet, quick and easy

This can do it all , I used it earlier to make guacamole and was trying to be discreet but it was so quiet unlike my other food processor!! I love that. I also am a fan of the handle and how you can buckle it down. It’s also easy to clean because of the shape of it unlike other processors. It gets the job done, and it’s very simple, there’s only three buttons!

When I buy small kitchen appliances, I normally opt for lower cost models but I can say with confidence that this is very much worth the price and I plan on buying more appliances from KitchenAid in the future. It is well made and every piece fits perfectly in place. Assembly and disassembly are easy and cleaning is a breeze. All pieces are top rack dishwasher safe, though I opted for handwashing. The instruction manual is very thorough, easing any worries with use. 

I used it to make a delicious salsa and it incorporated all of the ingredients quickly, quietly, and with ease. It’s way quieter than a blender and does a better job combining ingredients. There’s also a safety latch that must be closed completely before the machine will operate, a safety feature I personally love! 

If you’re wanting to use it for a large amount of food, you might want to opt for the larger model. For context on how much it can hold, this one fit 5 Roma tomatoes, 3 jalapeños, 1 bulb of garlic cloves, and 3/4 of a large white onion with room to add more ingredients. 

If you’re considering this product vs another brand, I highly recommend choosing this one. You won’t regret it.

Incredibly Efficient and Well Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been loving using this food processor over the last few weeks. The large capacity is convenient for batch prepping, and the motor handles ingredients efficiently.

I recently used it to make a chocolate mousse, and the result was delicious. It handled the ingredients well, and the mousse turned out smooth and creamy.

The fact that it's mostly dishwasher safe is also a huge bonus, making cleanup a breeze. The few parts that need manual washing are straightforward to clean and dry.

Easy and Efficient

It’s a lot lighter with more plastic parts but overall still worked as it should. Lately we’ve been using it to make veggie chop for our bird daily. Easy cleanup and maintenance.

Good quality for your buck

 I so disappointed as my 7 Cup plus food processor stopped working all sudden in less than a year of use. I don't know why the quality of kitchenaid products have gone down so much. I wish they work on making better quality products verses creating new line of products. I have owned many other brands small appliances but was a big fan until now. I tried to reach by email, no reply yet.
